air is getting in, the oil with air contact is oxidized, from the look of that cap, I'd transfer that to a appropriately sized mason jar, you want the least amount of air in there with the jar closed, or get a bunch of syringes (amazon) and fill'em, that would keep it better (less air contact) ....y...
