Slurricane
My first impression was good when I cracked the bag on this one. The terps smacked me straight in the face with strong limonene and a sweet candy scent. Really great bag appeal with big frosted nugs when I dumped the sack out on my table to inspect. Thick and spongy to the touch, I was hyped rolling it up. The hype was not undeserved as the first couple of tokes left me with a sweet lemony candy taste. The doobie burned clean with a whitish/salt n pepper ash. No run on this bad boy, just a light resin ring. The high was very uplifting and sociable while still having the relaxing effects of the indica lineage. A great balanced hybrid if that’s what you’re looking for.
Bag appeal: 4.5/5
Nose/Terps: 5/5
Burn:4.5/5
High:4.5/5
Truffletini
No doubt this is a Tropicanna Cookies cross. That tangy orange smell comes out heavy on this cut. That along with some earthy gas makes for a potent stank. This might have been done by the same grower as the Slurricane based on the cure, with that nice spongy touch that leaves a little room for air so that it stays fresh for the whole ounce. The trim left a few sugar leaves on but personally it doesn’t bother me(waste not want not sucka) especially with that thick layer of trichomes. It busted up nice and I rolled a decent fatty that burned clean with min run and a salt/pepper ash. This one had a strong tangy taste and a heavier smoke than I expected. The resin ring was oozing and I could feel the strength of this one come on. I instantly regretted not smoking this one later in the day as I was proper ripped. I had to run some errands and was lost in my own head, avoiding eye contact and keeping cashier convos to a bare minimal. I’d recommend if you’re looking for a dank taste and heavy head high.
