Random weed questions and statements - boveda rob smell??

I have been seeing lately people referring to boveda stealing the nose/smell off of weed, wondered peoples thoughts on this???
- me I use 20 of them in every jar immediately apon delivery sometimes multiply bovedas(overkill)
resulting in the use of what i call nosejars for my daily use. All my bovedas are in constant rotation
usually every week returning to a Tupperware container with two distilled caps full of water till pillows...
While I do agree moisture content and freshness tends to rob that nose, it does return with age/dry.

Re-trimming delivered weed is something I find myself a enjoyment, wondered if others also did this/organizing bud size..????

Seeds do they piss you off if you receive couple seeds with your mom strain??
- me love it!!! as long as bud doesnt have that peanut butter taste collecting seeds from strains
I ordered feels like a lottery to me, four seeds in 7 grams to me is a winfall and bud is paid for by the
return investment of those seeds..

I find the opposite actually. The bovedas bring out the true character of the bud. It happens sometimes getting orders where the bud doesn’t smell much, but after sitting 2-3 days in the mason jar with some boveda packs wow what a difference. Before I discovered boveda pack I used to use cut up banana peels but you don’t leave them in the jars for long or else your bud will get too moist but it did effect the taste of the bud, but in a good way.

So i recently did an experiment where I stored 3 separate batches in different jars. One with boveda, one with integra and one with nothing.

Honestly.. the first two weeks I did notice fainter terps from the boveda jar when comparing to the integra. However after the 10-14day mark I couldn’t really find a difference. Integra boost seems to work a little better imo, it’s more of a gradual process, where the boveda pack will almost instantly re-hydrate within the first day. I’d imagine the more gradual process is better for the flower, but I could be wrong. If the weed is too far gone, I’d use a boveda though, I have seen them bring flower back from the dead several times.

I ordered some more 7g jars, so I’m going to do a more long-term experiment whenever I order another half oz or oz of the same strain. I only tried this with my CE weed for about 20 days.

I've noticed a thing with my bovedas lately, it seems they don't all perform the same way. I have a few strains that stay dry despite the boveda and I think those bovedas are just leeching more than they should, not only stealing terps but also drying the buds instead of keeping them at 62. Those are the big 68g bovedas and they are all still very soft. Others work extremely well and have kept some of my herb fresh for a year now. There might be defective units, once in a while. They were all bought in a 20 pieces pack so prob rolled off the production line at the same time.

I'll be trying Integra next.

Honestly, I just have a mason jar that fits about an oz just-right and I have a boveda at the bottom (it's fairly big so I have to fold it on both ends so my weed sits at the bottom) and I don't notice much for the smell but to be honest the stuff I keep in my jars is for my personal use and I don't care as much for smell as I do the potency/effect the weed has on me so I don't mind even if the smell does go away, but I don't notice a difference.

And nope, never got a seed from a MOM yet although if I did, I wouldn't know what to do with it. Possibly moving to a house during the summer if things go as planned so in that case I would grow it if it's a strain I enjoyed otherwise I couldn't do anything with it really since I'm in an apartment at the moment and it's not legal to grow within apartments from what I understand.
