[Weed Deals] Shishkaberry Hybrid Indica Review | 4.8/5

Once again another shishkaberry strain, not because we're running out of strains to try but because we've seen 5/5 shishka strains, 3.5/5 strains, all over the board. Either way I've always been impressed by the taste which I value the most (aside from the buzz of course).



Once again an hybrid indica with 'up to' 25% this strain from the jar looks like a solid, dense bud, quite frosty. Out of the jar we get a very sweet aroma, almost a fruity candy aroma, living up to its name. Up close we can see it quite covered in crystals, making this (what would be a darker bud) a much lighter color. Some red hairs with very few tints of purple this bud is majority light green.



Cracking it open we get a lot of red hairs near the center which is interesting (usually they're just on the outside). Quite dense as suspected the one nug was almost 3-grams heavy. When cracking it open we see it gets quite hollow to the center but the colors and patterns remain quite consistent right to the core. The smell remains very sweet but now with a bit of a tangy/sour after-smell, but still very sweet and candy-like. Very appetizing indeed.



Ground up the colors get a lot lighter, with way more bud than red hairs but still quite a few red hairs sprinkled in. What makes it special is the sweet smell is replaced with a tangy, sour smell. Still a bit of sweetness but now the smell reminds me of sour patch candies. Not burning-nostrils sour, but def. the more dominant smell. Ground up the bud is very sticky as it sticks to bother my fingers and to itself, leaving quite a sticky residue on my gloves. Had to rub it off the fingers for it to fall back in the grinder.



In the vape we started at 185 and got a very strong cookie, baked-goods, sweet taste with a lot of vapor. Nice, but not the shishkaberry flavor we were looking for. We turned it up to 195 and got a much stronger berry, sweet taste closer to what we see in these kind of strains. It was on par with the top 5/5 shishkaberry we had before in terms of taste which was extremely pleasant and delicious. It went from cookie to sweet and lasted until the session was done. Interesting to compare to the other strains in terms of taste as it was quite similar. What made it particularly enjoyable was the abundance of vapor due to the freshness/humidity of the bud.



Smoking from the pipe we're left with a light grey to dark grey color. What was really unique was right away we got a very nice taste; very strong shishkaberry favor which we dont usually get unless we're vaping. Overall a pretty smooth smoke, big clouds of smoke, good taste throughout. One of the BETTER shishkaberry flavors. The effects were a very indica feeling but not enough to get you glued to the couch. At the same time not really feeling going out to socializing but rather staying home and relaxing. A laid back, end-of-day bud to seal off a stressful day with a pleasant tasting bud.



Overall great looking/smelling, strong effects, great taste in the vape (and long lasting) with a smooth, thick smoke and pleasant burn. Not much to complain about really with it but not AS good as the 5/5 shishkaberry we had in the past. Probably up there close to a 4.8 .. as shishkaberry itself continues to climb the ranks and possibly be my new favorite strain.
