What makes a good MOM or strain review?

I'm trying out some new MOMs this week and thought I could do some reviews

I'm wondering what people think is important so I don't waste my time

I'm interested in doing this for the people, no incentives, no shill. I appreciate seeing a lot of critique done in a review so there are no surprises. Not to be a dick but to help everyone do better. What do you appreciate?

Without writing an essay on the shit what's a good way to explain weed? I figured picking on some specific points like potency, appeal, value, and rating them would be a good way but then I end up with an essay. If that's good and you'd like to read it, or not, let me know.

And other than generic macro and micro shots is there anything you like to see in a photo?

I appreciate all input guys, I want to do my best

I'm (very slowly) working on a review system that's meant to cover most aspects of weed but also do it in the most objective way possible. Every point can (but does not have to) be noted and you can add any comments you like to each point. The end goal is to have a system where the viewer can focus on whatever points/aspects of weed HE deems important and make his own "final note" on the product.

You can see an example of my review system here and I encourage anyone who wants to use it to do so. Hopefully we can eventually use this (or what it will evolve into) as a replacement for the vague/contested AAAA rating system that dominates the market currently.

I try to focus on the aspects that can be verified. Freshness, trim, cure, visual appeal, smokability, nose and taste. Strains affect people differently, I try not to talk about the high too much but give a brief review of the effects as I feel them. I also like to touch on communication, customer service, shipping times, how the order was packaged, vac seals / mylar bags, etc.
I like to give a full over view of the mom, where I find a lot of people just ramble on about the high only.
