[SpeedGreens] Nuken Honeycomb Budder Review | 4.5 / 5

Another nuken another concentrate ... which works out well since we now have nuken flower side by side with the budder which should make an interesting comparison in terms of flavors, smells and effects. We've seen the shatter before which was almost identical to the flower but first time looking at budder.
The color of the budder is a dark golden tint but a light color than the shatter. With a waxy consistency it's quite crumbly tho, a bit harder to break off and work with than the shatter but at the same time easy to make grain-like measurements and doses.
Melting it at 430 in the pico it takes a while for it to melt but when it does it quickly turns to a dark liquid. Quite darker / golder / amber tint than we saw with other shatter and concentrates we've seen. Is this a sign of not-so-good concentrate or just the nature of the concentrate making process.
The smell is a very STRONG baked goods, sweet, flowery/perfumy. Near identical to the flower except for the baked goods smell ... and if I recall correctly the flower had a bit of a pine smell as well.
Having smoked it from the vape we got a flowery, perfumy sweet taste right away (very strong) ... the strongest tasting concentrate in terms of flavor. The effects are a very heavy indica: couch lock, heavy body buzz, relaxed, numbed-out and unable to move. Def lives up to the indica effects. The strength also seems to be stronger than the other nuken we had as well, and assuming it's based off the same strength of flower (as we've seen from nuken flowers in general) it's possibly the better choice between shatter/budder.
Overall it's hard to say whether shatter or budder is better even when comparing the same flower. Probably the largest differences are how easy it is to work with: shatter is easy to break and chip off but melts easy in your hands whereas budder is a waxy, easy-to-crumble but sometimes too crumbly. In terms of taste we've seen that the budder has a stronger taste AND smell ... yet both the shatter and budder both have the same characteristics as the flower. Personal preference and availability is probably what it comes down to.
