Pink Lemonade - Low Price Bud - Mid October
Posted: Wed Oct 14, 2020 3:29 am
MOM Name: Low Price Bud
Overall rating out of 10: LPB still remains a perfect 10/10 for me. I keep coming back to them after trying other moms because the prices and quality are bang on. Never had an issue with an order that wasn’t quickly resolved in my favour
Sign Up: Sign up is easy and doesn’t require that you post your life history to make an account. There is a 20% new customer promo on your first order
Ordering & Pricing: LPB always has an impressive size of inventory on their site. I’m a flower only guy, but I have dabbled in their shatter and oil pens and have been happy with those too. Prices are competitive with the market and I feel that they do fairly rate their products
Communication: They get back to me within a few hours typically, and I’ve never had to wait too long. They are pretty good with questions regarding staff suggestions
Packaging: I haven’t received better packaging from any MoM like I have with LPB. Awesome LPB packaging, smell proof bag, then sealed in a smell proof bag, which is then sealed in the shipping box. I have absolutely no concerns with CP confiscating their packages.
Products / Photos: I am reviewing their Pink Lemonade, rated at AAA.
Incentive for Customers: New customer 20% promo code, as well as random sales and random promo codes. Be sure to sign up for their emails.
Incentive for Review: Store credit for future orders
Strain Name: Pink Lemonade
Strain Fidelity: 8: I’ve never had Pink Lemonade before, but from what I read in research, it seems to match up for the most part. Where if I find it differing is the taste/smell category which I’ll touch on in that category
Size of buds: 8: Mostly large buds with some medium and some small. I’m pretty happy and have no concerns
Bag Appeal: 8: The buds have a nice lime green, pink, purple, and red composition that really makes this a great bag appeal bud. I found the buds to be a little airy and not dense, but this could be related to my belief that this batch is sativa dominant (The strain is typically 80% Indica/20% Sativa).
Cure & Humidity: 9.5: The humidity is near perfect upon arrival, but I needed to air it out a little bit to get our some humidity. The cure is very clean, and the vapour through my vaporizers was very clean
Smell Intensity: 9.5: Very loud citrus-based smell right away, and it does stink up my living room which is a great sign, especially for an AAA rated strain. While the lineage of this strain involves Lemon Skunk, I find myself picking up on a grapefruit taste, with a bit of a earthy/berry undertone.
Harshness vs Smoothness: 9.5: The vapour that I got out of my Enano and SSV is pure and smooth. There was absolutely no harshness at all.
Taste Intensity: 9.5: The taste is very, very identical to the bud smell, and I’m happy about that. Very strong tasting, and if you’re a fan of fruity terpenes, you will love how bright this is.
Taste Complexity: 9.5: I taste grapefruit, in combination with berries, earth and a little pine. There is a lot going on in the taste department of this strain, so if you’re someone looking for a complex tasting strain: this is one.
Buzz Intensity: 8: To me, after using this strain a few times hours after each other, I’m sure that this is a Sativa leaning hybrid. I pick up on the sativa feelings/vapour production, as the effects remind me very much of a sativa. You will not be couch locked by this strain, but you definitely get a solid body buzz, with a strong head highly.
Price: I paid $80 for 14g in a build your own once mixer
Value: 8: I feel that the price is almost perfectly fair, but maybe $10 cheaper would’ve made this more fair, but I’m okay with what I paid.
"A" Scale Rating: LPB advertises this as a AAA and I’m inclined to agree with them again on their scale rating. Overall, I rate this strain as a 8.5/10
