What does the community consider as acceptable to become a "Trusted MOM"?

Hello Everyone,

We hope you are all having a wonderful day! As some of you may know, we are a newly launched MOM based in Toronto, Ontario. Considering we are a small team and didn't get into this business to pay our bills, but rather to allow access to reputable, clean and quality products and make connections with some of the wonderful people of this community and industry. We consider our first 2+ months in business to be very successful mainly because we haven't had any mistakes in orders or upset customers, there have been 1 or 2 minor complications that we immediately took action on and did what was in our hands to make up for the inconvenience.

Now for the topic I wanted your opinions on, is what should be considered acceptable to become a trusted MOM? Some of you might have noticed that we have a way larger presence on Instagram! Even though we still had several customers and a couple of reviews on this forum, a lot of this forums' users, unfortunately, seem to risk their chances with quality to save some money (as seen with one of the new MOMs very recently) which is totally acceptable, each to their own! A lot of Instagram members of the community, however, seem to be comfortable with paying to guarantee clean-quality products which is why we have a lot more reviews from members of the cannabis community coming from Instagram than we do on this forum. So in your opinions, is our presence and relative success on Instagram over the last 2+ months enough for us to request our position to be switched to a "Trusted MOM" from the mods of this forum? Or should the trusted list be directly dependant on this forum and we still need a couple more reviews on this forum? - You can also give your opinion on this topic in general, not only related to us.

We could have just requested this from the mods separately and either get a "yes" or "no" from them, but community feedback is always better than that! Looking forward to hearing some opinions!

Thank you for your time,

Not talking as a mod here but as a member of this site.

The list is nice and all but it's not a full authority on who is good or bad. In fact I've been wondering if the "trusted" part of the list is even necessary. IMHO the community issue and blacklist is what really matters.

IMHO don't worry too much about it, keep selling good product and offering good service and it will happen in time. Can't rush this.

Hello,

Thanks for the feedback that everyone has thrown in so far! We are definitely not trying to rush the process of getting ourselves on the "Trusted MOMs" list. We know the level of customer service that we provide and we've had customers placing orders with us who never placed orders with MOMs before, so our mission is just to keep doing what we're doing. It was just more of a curious question as to what the COMMUNITY finds necessary in a "Trusted MOM", we're very familiar with the rules of the mods for becoming a part of that list.

I agree that the List is best used as a reference sheet and it most definitely helps in numerous ways as we ourselves used it to chose where we shopped from before we launched our own service! Pretty interesting point you brought up about the Instagram reviews though, I feel like if they're reviews coming from reputable members of the cannabis community they should be valid, but I see what you mean about the nature of it and difficulty in archiving it and I find that reasonable and fair. Our team hugely appreciates the effort the mods put in to provide a platform like this where MOMs can reach out to the masses! Much love!
