Hello members,
Things are starting to move a long with us and you guys are a big part of that, thanks!
What's your thoughts on flavoring your Cannabis?
- Flavored Rolling Papers
- Adding Flavored Terps to Extracts
Personally, I like using some flavored Papers once in a while. It's always nice to lick the glue when rolling a joint haha. Mostly though, having a really good quality Flower is nice to smoke naturally, with as little influence from any other flavoring as possible. I'd say a flavored paper is used in my home very little of the time but still is used.
When smoking from some sort of a pen, I'd rather it flavored. Some sort of fruity Terp is what I like.
I've never tried a flavored extract to dab, as dabbing is too strong for me.
I ask for a couple of reasons. First, I'd like to get to you know you guys a bit better! Second, we are going to be adding quite a few new products, where flavoring will be an option.
BTW, I always keep some flavored rollies in the shop. If you want a pack next time, just mention it on your order notes

2Hi, personally I have never enjoyed flavored rolling papers, I always found them to ruin the flavor of the product.
As for dabs I have never tried any with added terps but im under the impression it's a lot more tasty than any flavored rolling paper out there.

3I think flavored anything is the onset of a very slippery slope. I'm against it mainly by principle. If we let it happen, real weed will be hard to find.
Re: Flavored Cannabis - What's your thoughts?
4If it's shitty weed, maybe. But good weed's flavour should speak for itself.

5Fruit flavoured pre-roll papers sound really exotic and unique
I'd be interested =D

6I tried flavored papers a long time ago. They only tasted when u liked the paper.
I would not trust flavored weed. Would question why they'd wanna cover the original smell...

7Could ruin the flavor of the product or add just a touch something you like. I hear ya though. The Chronic Toker wrote: Mon Oct 01, 2018 6:54 am Hi, personally I have never enjoyed flavored rolling papers, I always found them to ruin the flavor of the product.

With the Terps, a real Terpene is a natural oil from another plant, so that's always nice to know.

8I think the naturalists will always be the biggest market. I guess we will see what the younger generation is going to do and see which way they sway things.xsinx wrote: Mon Oct 01, 2018 8:35 am I think flavored anything is the onset of a very slippery slope. 9That's the truth! When we have some strains and quality asking for upwards of almost $300 an oz.... Maybe adding a bit of flavor to a less expensive option could be an add sometimes.BurgerNFries wrote: Mon Oct 01, 2018 10:43 am If it's shitty weed, maybe. 10Times have changed a bit. The flavored papers keep their flavor for a while. Each time you take a drag, you'll get a bit of it's flavor. Not sure if you have seen how many flavors are available, it's nuts!2gr/day wrote: Mon Oct 01, 2018 10:11 pm I tried flavored papers a long time ago. They only tasted when u liked the paper.

Maybe we need to manufacture a new flavor called "Good Weed" with the slogan or write up stating "Making your shitty weed taste like Good Weed" For those on a budget, hanging with ballers haha.

12Yeah that's what I mean. Even buying $99oz all the time I've never had any that I could really complain about the taste of. They all taste like weed. If they tasted like sweet peaches or grapes or something I'd probably wonder what they were trying to cover up.2gr/day wrote: Mon Oct 01, 2018 10:11 pm I tried flavored papers a long time ago. I know people that do like it though, I guess it depends on the market. I personally would never buy an artificially flavored product, but natural terpenes are fine.
Re: Flavored Cannabis - What's your thoughts?
13Food-grade terpenes technically can be considered natural as they can be extracted from other plants. Used in any distillate with a strain name and I'm assuming some shatter brands do as well. There are also cannabis derived terpenes which are extracted from weed but can be 10x more expensive so don't get used often.BurgerNFries wrote: Tue Oct 02, 2018 10:44 amYeah that's what I mean. 14Yes, Terpene's are a plants essential oils extracted. They can also enhance not just the flavor but also the effects. So I have been told by Terpene Vendors!bblzd wrote: Tue Oct 02, 2018 8:35 pmFood-grade terpenes technically can be considered natural as they can be extracted from other plants. Re: Flavored Cannabis - What's your thoughts?
15Yeah that's why I said natural terpenes are fine. But flavored papers and flavor packs to me are to hide bad flavor, not enhance good flavor.bblzd wrote: Tue Oct 02, 2018 8:35 pmFood-grade terpenes technically can be considered natural as they can be extracted from other plants. Edit: my brother did use flavor packs and flavored papers a lot in the past though. It's definitely worth offering, just not my personal taste.
