Hey guys been around for a while but just posting for the first time here... I've been using kingtuts because ive found quite a few 25% off coupons on their IG. The owner refuses to replace an ounce of moldy paloma that i threw out.Said because of my coupons and samples I've been compensated for the ounce.
I love the products here love the service but getting moldy product is uncalled for and id like to see how you guys would go about this situation.
This is what the orders have been.
Order 1:
Rotted kandy kush and the promo was 9 samples. I ordered 7 ounces and didnt recive the 9 samples i was told instead i got 3 samples 2 were 2 grams and one was 1.5...not sure how that adds up to 9.
Order 2:
Didn't ship gifts with order or the 1/4 replacement for kandy they said they would but they sent the gifts puralator that was cool
Order 3:
Short on mku still no 1/4 replacement as agreed on and moldy paloma
Before discovering mold asked for wholesale price they gave me the price for paloma then asked if they would front a lb to me if i paid more than half upfront, they declined I understood and left it at that and ordered again.
Order 4: I gave shipper instructions for my replacement and upped what king said because we agreed on 1/4 replacement for bad kandy and he only gave 1/8 of ghost pie. He spelt my name wrong as well so i assumed that the 1/8 was a typo aswell.
Everything was perfect minus I got green crack shatter instead of the king tut sativa shatter.

2This was a tough one. Yes, I decided not to send out a replacement oz. This was the first time I had to make a decision like this after taking everything, including conversation, orders and requests into consideration.
Up until a certain time in history, things were going good. We did a fair bit business together.
I will first reply to each order that was mentioned above.
1. That Promo was a 25% off that will include a sample of each other strain that we had, just to get everything out there for reviews. I'm sure he did order 7 ounces @ 25% off. Part of that Promo was to get the rest of the products that he did not purchase, as samples. That way he would have received everything we had. Instead of just sending 1 gram of each of the remaining strains that he did not buy (Which was the Promo), we upped that to 2 grams each. That was a nice gesture on our part.
2. That sounds like us. If we missed something, we take care of that right away! I'm sure we did send out his gifts out ASAP, which he deserved.
Here is where I believe that he asked me to front him 1/2 lb. I mentioned that was not our policy. This is where I believe the problems started.
3. He mentioned he was short on the MKU by 1/4 I believe. I apologized for the and mentioned we would take care of that right on his next order! I said I would send him 1/8 Ghost Pie, 1 Gram of King Tut Shatter and 1/8 of Death Bubba as a replacement and a sorry for the short on the MKU. I offered this, as we did not have any MKU left. I think that's quite the fair replacement. I did ask him to do me a favor and just let my shipping guy know what I said in the notes for me please. He did do that but added more product. He said this exactly "Can I get a sample of the Blue Cookies and Green Crack Shatter? And also from Tut himself "Please send **** an 1/4 of Ghost Pie, 1 gram of King Tut Shatter and an 1/8 of Death Bubba, as we do not have any MKU left"" So, he made it look like a copy and paste but decided to add an 1/8 of the Ghost Pie. That was a lie and actually forgery. Wasn't a type on my part. Maybe the Type on my part was the extra 1 gram of Shatter and the 1/8 of Death Bubba as well.
After this, he did go on to say that he found bud rot on Paloma that we sold a while a go, that he had to throw away and just went ahead and said that I can just send him an oz of Gods Green Crack or Bruce Banner.
After taking all of that into consideration, I decided to say no to his business and not send him another oz as frankly, I don't believe him. I believe he has tried to build a relationship and then tried to get a 1/2 lb of bud free "as a front" and when that did not happen, the problems started.
I ended our conversation with "Imagine I had fronted you that 1/2 lb? That would be weird"
All of this being said. There is screen shots of all of these conversations. I hope that how I have handled problem situations in the past, is how we will be defined.
If this customer did in fact have a problem with bud rot, it would have been had he not lied (Upped samples or replacement). It would have been nice to see a picture of the problem (the oz before it was thrown out). It would have been nice not to have just been told what to send as a replacement before we had a civil conversation. It would have been nice not to have been asked to front a 1/2 lb of product, not knowing each other.
By saying no to the replacement oz, I knowingly walked away from a customer that has been buying larger quantities.

3See even you have things mixed up i told you on my first order i had a 6g cluster with rot on the kandy and you agreed to replace it with with a 1/4 never got it. Now you try to make yourself look good by saying you replaced missing mku with an 1/8th of ghost pie king tut shatter and 1/4 of death bubba. When really you were sending replacement for the kandy kush we already agreed upon and you went lower on what we agreed so yes i changed what you said in the order because we agreed on a 1/4. It was after order 3

Sorry to hear about your experience, however working in the same field and industry as King Tut's
Please do understand and give the company more credit.
No company really has intentions of sending / mold or rot.. we all really are looking out for one another by trying to send the best product possible.
Nobody is perfect and so much cannabis funnels through our stores that it is actually impossible to catch every single detail and gram that comes in LBs that we do purchase.
Situations like this are always upsetting for both parties, as you the receiver are unhappy
However the company to be put on blast, in a public community makes it very difficult for them as well
I always wished that all issues were dealt with privately unless not resolved fairly, to both parties satisfaction
As posts like this, ruin the potential of a business to succeed by straying potential clients within the community away by this one mistake or what not
However I hope both of you resolve the issue, just wanted to put my feedback out there

I've said this many times. When you conduct yourself and your business in a more than fair manor, there is nothing to hide. Customers can post what they like online but at the end of the day, I believe hard work, a good work ethic and being 100% honest will always lead to an easy debate or argument.
Stonertradesman, keep an eye out for your parcel but it might be a day or 2 late, due to the CP partial strike.
I've said this many times. When you conduct yourself and your business in a more than fair manor, there is nothing to hide. Customers can post what they like online but at the end of the day, I believe hard work, a good work ethic and being 100% honest will always lead to an easy debate or argument.

6I have nothing to hide either infact ill show all the emails we've had in original form to an admin. @cheapweed.ca i tried to remedy this without it going public and they told me i would not receive anything for moldy bud. I would like to come to an agreement before all of this happend i actually told you i would rather talk to you in private and deal with this issue..So your just going to send something random out how about being a civilized company and answer my emails things should be agreed on before you send something i asked for GGC Or Bruce Banner because i had tried all your sativas already and i wanted to try something new. Actually sad you won't take my business because you messed up and can't admit to wrong doing even now you don't acknowledge the fact or apologized for sending me moldy product when my wife is allergic to mold(penicillin) and pregnant.

8Who in the hell just throws something out before contacting the seller to see what they'd like to do? That was just plain stupidity, and you should feel lucky they are replacing it without more proof than a few photos that the seller has no idea if you even took. You buy a product from Amazon and just throw it out if it is broken?! Of course not, you send it back. It's just basic ass logic, chief.

9I did contact them before throwing it out actually took pictures. I don't have a vacuum sealer and a way to make it smell proof or i would have sent it back if it wasn't illegal, wife does not smoke while pregnant i know its unhealthy brother. And actually yes you can throw an amazon product out if it's broken you've obviously never dealt with them they send replacements no questions asked.
