CW Moldy Buds

1
Made an order last week for a hp of pink bubba from CW. Found several moldy buds in said hp. Sent an email and Tony agreed that they were moldy and apologized and offered a 60 dollar coupon. I requested a replacement as the bag is contaminated and I don't feel comfortable smoking moldy stuff and have been ignored ever since. That was three days ago, I have sent polite emails each day since the first email with literally no replies.

Here are some images of the bud.

I'm not going to answer for Tony but we do our absolute best to handle quality control. It's not easy to spot everything though, once in a while an obstacle of sorts will be sent out. Not sent out on purpose, absolutely not! It's impossible to test everything. We have to do our best and control what we can. We have ZERO problem taking action with our growers if we see something.

How the problem is handled is the important part IMO.

For the amount of weight we move, I couldn't imagine what it would be like to move 100 times more.

If this is an issue many times, yeah that's a problem. If it's not handled fairly by your MoM, that's a problem as well.

The good ones will take responsibility and rectify it. I would also assume that wherever that bud came from, will get an ear full too and maybe that pack back.

I feel like you still haven't answered my question. Further to explain that, do you have a person sifting through the nugs when you package your order (so that you dont have too much shake or stems or any other issue,,). From what im reading, you are placing blame straight to the grower. Which leads me to believe that you just drop ship your orders? (or large orders)

Yes, we inspect all buds and all items per order. We do not ship direct from our supplier to customers.

You may find that some buds need to be broken in half to find any problems that are not visible on the outside. Those are the tough ones to catch.

Glad it got resolved in the end. I wonder if it would have if you didn't call Cheapweed out publicly after being ghosted though.

The original $60 coupon offered is a joke, well done not getting scammed into accepting that.

I have to agree with kt. You can only inspect so much until literally tearing down buds witch who wants a bunch of ripped up buds. Now if its a whole sack or a obvious hunk of mold hard to miss then yeah poor QC def. but sometimes its missed. As i have bought stuff in person when inspected looked fine got it home ripped open a 6 g bud to find the whole centre eaten away it happens. If the suplier issues a refund / works with you then id say they are a good mom to deal with. Glad you got a refund.
