Cheapweed.ca- missing product

Hello all,

This post is not bashing or putting down cheapweed or tony. They are an amazing company and I have been extremely happy with every order and I have never had an issue till now. The product is absolutely amazing and you won't get the quality for the prices anywhere else. This post is just me looking for some guidance as I am not sure what to do I am new to the mom community as of last year.

New to the community and excited to get involved ! I have been ordering from cheapweed.ca since around august. I love every minute of it !! All the product is amazing and you always know your getting your moneys worth. I am never worried about what I am getting when I order from Tony. I order every couple weeks. Run a small dispensary with roughly 15-20 customers and growing all the time ! (Small city) Everyone is in love with the product that I can supply them with for decent prices. Where I am from if you wanted some decent stuff it was gonna cost you. I never had any issues with any of my orders other then a couple during the strike that were taking a while.

But my last two orders have been a bit stressful on my end. Two weeks ago I ordered my usual OZ selection. I ordered 9 and also I am growing so every order gonna add in full LBs. I ordered 2lbs and 9ozs. Recieved my package and was missing my ounce of Kush Bomb :( and also my boveda packs for the lbs. I emailed back and within twelve hours got a response and they gave me a credit for $130 which was awesome. It was a super fast response and i wasnt sure what to expect because its a hard thing to prove on my end. Just ordered again and recieved my package yesterday (Monday). I inspect the box before opening and then opened the box with two sealed bags inside. One bag was my full 1lb of purple haze(WOW amazing product). The other bag was my OZ bag which I ordered 11 this time. I opened the bag and counted 8 bags and my boveda packs. I emailed right away and let them know the three strains I was missing ( blue magoo, god kush, tonys ice wreck). I went about my usual routine and weighed and bagged the order I recieved. I received a reply directly from Tony this time. He asked if I could double check the package. I informed him that there was for sure 3 missing bags.

Im so unsure how to proceed........he says hes going to look into it further. I love everything about CW and Tony. I hate how this has happened and do not want this effecting my other orders with them. I do not want to find someone or somewhere else. I just want whats mine if that makes sense. But even if he doesnt provide me with it I understand where hes coming from because we have never met sorta my word against who packaged my order..... How should I proceed with my future orders? Videotape opening the package? Any feedback helps thanks

Absolutely record video from start to finish of your package opening right through weight checks for every order. It's the only way you have a leg to stand on if something goes wrong. If everything checks out, simply delete the video.

Thanks everyone. Ya I am feeling pretty stressed about the situation. Also stupid for not recording to begin with but it has just never been an issue. So it honestly never crossed my mind to do it. I just started recently ordering more as well so its just an unfortunate set back. But I will defenitly start recording every package opening from now on just for the peace of mind if anything is wrong.

I think he's mentioned to me he has cameras in the packaging room after something was missing in an order of mine. It took a couple of days after he said he would check but eventually he made it right. I'm sure they do anything they can to avoid any he-said she-said disputes when they're able to like for something like this.

It sucks it happens in the first place but it's better to happen with him than someone less forgiving/trusting. Use this as a learning experience to start filming or doing something to protect yourself. Hopefully this isn't an expensive lesson.

Yes he said he had cameras in one email then said he was gonna look into it in the next. Mistakes happen I understand. I hope things do get made right but I understand the situation.

Ya i wasnt sure if there was any other ways people were checking or taking safety precautions before and after opening there package. It is unfortunate as I just started getting bigger so bit of a set back. But yes a learning experience for sure.

I have been ordering from Cheapweed for a long time now without issue, but am stopping buying from them, since I see your issue.I would never order again, from someone that makes me Film myself, opening their boxes.

I think you misunstood. I am not being forced to film my packages. I am choosing to to protect myself and to save Tony some time if an issue does come up. And save myself the wait as well. As posted he checked his cameras amd refunded me once he saw the issue but it did take time. If I wouldve had the video of me opening the package it would have saved the time and made things easier on my end as well as his. Dont let this stop you from ordering as you cannot say another mom would refund me 3 ounces that were missed as it is he said she said. Just good thing Tony is well established and good customer service. I also order large amounts once a week so lots of room for human error. It happens. But please dont stop. Like I said he never even asked to record I offered and asked if it would help. Your not asked to but it should be recommended ordering from any MOM.

After choosing another dispensary, I am more happy with, the opposite is occurring.They are giving me samples and such that Cheapskate Tony never once delivered on.There are so many great dispensaries out there and cheap Tony is getting too big for him to handle our orders.He's going big and expanding, and I am staying small and compassionate.I got a better deal from Hillspharm as well.No comparison between the two, and the quality is better at the the other one. .

Question...Whats wrong with you? Do you have nothing better to do then put people or companys down? You said you were stopping doing business with him because what happened with me right?

Clearly it is because you never got free samples. Just because someome doesnt give stuff away doesnt make them cheap. For bulk hes the cheapest for the best. I dont expect free shit if i wanna try something I buy it. Stop beong cheap and try it

I would appreciate if you deleted your post on my question. I was looking for advice. Not for this. Your just looking like an ass

After spending a lot of money, and many orders, at Cheap Tony, it was this posting that convinced me to stop purchasing from there.This is the nature of a forum to instruct other members ,when places like this have deteriorated, and Tony has deteriorated in my opinion.A huge warehouse operation that, dosen't care what they put into your box.If they run out they just shove something else in, as they did in my last order.I found a lot better thanks to you.So forget me deleting my post, because I stand by my words, and thanks for steering me in a better direction.

There are better ways to say especially when its not your inital post to begin with. Never said in my post that I believe they are "deteriorating".
A simple mistake was made that was fixed. Never had any issues involving product quality or names. Always got what I paid for other then this time.
Look around. Lots of places reccommend video opening dealing with big quantities.

I tend to extrapolate information from posts, and read between the lines...............Thanks again for making this post because I found a much better dispensary, out of the deal.If I hadn't of seen this posting, I would be still buying Weed from Tony.This forum is amazing, for constantly steering me in the correct direction..... I am sitting on 100 dollars worth of free samples, I wouldn't have gotten otherwise.I am going to start donating money to this forum, and thank you again, for your great information.

I don't disagree with your decision to jump ship. In fact, I find it about the same when I read the forums. I extract information from people's posts and it helps influence future decisions. Though I personally feel you didn't need to go the the lengths of flat out insulting a prosperous business because you feel you are owed something; whether or not you are in fact owed something or not is another discussion for another time.

I'm glad you found another mom you enjoy that can more so cater to your specific needs; that's what this forum is about. We can all help each other make educated decisions. It doesn't necessarily sound from your post(s) that you are looking to buy bulk, and rather enjoy more-so "boutique" strains.

In regards to having to film yourself opening boxes, it's just security for yourself and the MOM. Do you know how many people try to scam free weed from these companies? There's shitty people in all walks of life who want all kinds of free things. I'm not saying you are one of them, but with the influx of ways to scam everybody needs measures to protect themselves. Businesses aren't invulnerable to inside theft either; which is why many of them employ surveillance systems in their facilities.

Also, HSP might employ similar security measures to try and protect themselves just like Tony does with cheapweed. These days I'd be hard pressed to see anybody not running any type of security. Except, I was just told a story the other day about a business who wasn't running any type of antivirus and got hit with ransomware.
