Hey Guys,
With some input from the community, we're starting to look more in to the 2-way humidifier packs to keep the quality of our product at its peak while in transit across the country.
Full disclosure, this isn't something we're the most familiar with. So i'm wondering what you guys have found between the 2 big ones, Boveda and Integra. As well as what "level" you think would be sufficient for us based on the product we offer.
We're constantly learning and tweaking to improve. Definitely appreciate the support you guys have given us while we grow.

Re: Integra VS Boveda
2You want 62%, this is pretty much the level most people agree is best for weed. I prefer a bit more humidity, some prefer less, so it's the kind of things that can be user preference. I'd at least get big 62% for your own stock, then perhaps have users chose whether or not they want humidity packs. If you do pre-packaging, I would definitely put a pack with each prepacked bag, most people will prefer that to nothing at all.
The whole boveda vs integra debate has no clear winner, but either is better than nothing for sure. I've been rolling with bovedas for a year, but I've had a few integras with orders and I must admit integras seem more reliable. I've had a few bovedas that didn't really work, they only seemed to suck humidity and not give back. They were from a 20 pack I bought, prepackaged from the company, so likely all made on the same day, yet some work really well, others not much if at all. The few integras I've had seem consistent.
I've just received a 25 pack of integras I'll be using from now on. I'll report back in a few weeks I guess.

6Yeah it'll work but it'll dry up faster, just wanted to put it out there for others reading it. I've been using 67 gram ones in my 250ml jars with quartersTRACKER420 wrote: Thu May 16, 2019 8:00 pmthank you I do know this as I said upto 1oz for travel 4 gram very versatile and more than enough.

I use bovedas for 3 days and then remove completely, my preference..
Re: Integra VS Boveda
8Honestly my first venture into humidity packs was with Integra so I prefered them for a while, then I tried Boveda, and after that I started stumbling upon stories that Boveda "robbed" terps. I have not really found that to be true. Both will affect the vollatility of terps, which is not a bad thing, it means your terps are less airborne and stay with your flower. The effect on the nose might make your flower les odorant, but it's because those terps are on the flower, not in the ambient air.
Now, I have no preference between Integra or Boveda, either would be a nice addition to a flower order. I do prefer Boveda for long-term storing, and Integra for a quick refresh of some dry flower.

Re: Integra VS Boveda
9We use Bovedas. We find they work amazing and dont actually rob anything from the weed. We also send one out with every order.
Re: Integra VS Boveda
10The only time bovedas rob terps are when the flower is sitting above 62F, the terps become volatile and the packs will suck them up.
I find bovedas work for shipping in colder climates because they can hydrate faster than integras. However, now that temperatures are rising I prefer no bovedas when shipping. If I have the option, I’ll switch them for integras or ask for no boveda. I just got two sealed cans from a mom with no humidity packs and the terps were very strong. There was no need to use anything because the weed was cured properly.
Integra vs boveda is a hot topic, everyone has a different opinion on it. I personally don’t think bovedas are necessary if the weed is cured just right. I purchased a curidor and keep it at 57F and 62RH. The terps become real strong under these conditions even without any humidity packs. I’ve also started purchasing argon in aerosol cans to help remove all the air before sealing up.
Basically what I’m trying to say is bovedas have there place, but I don’t believe they should be used all the time.

11Can you give some specifics in regards to the argon and how it's done? Piqued my curiosity.Vdubb wrote: Sat May 25, 2019 8:10 am The only time bovedas rob terps are when the flower is sitting above 62F, the terps become volatile and the packs will suck them up.

Re: Integra VS Boveda
12Argon is an inert gas that you can spray in the jar and it replaces the air so the oxygen can’t break down your product. It’s an old trick that’s been around forever in other industries. After talking to the guys at curidor in California they sent me a pack of aerosol cans. The label says I can get 100 uses out of it. I only use it when I know I’m not touching my jar for over 7-10days. It’s kinda overkill but I’m sure I can find a cheap local source for something similar.
IMO it would be ideal to use before sealing flower in those tuna cans that moms use.
