Re: When is Lb prices suppose to go back down?

Hey guys, the reason why all the lb prices have been all over the place is due to the drought that hit Canada. Almost all the growers have been importing to the states which in turn raised the prices for everyone, MOMs included. I believe I speak for all of the MOMs out there, we hope the prices will stabilize soon as it isn't just affecting you guys but also affecting us drastically. The prices should drop as soon as the market in the states become saturated, but due to the large demand and the size of the American population, it is difficult to say when that would be.

I disagree i paid 800 a pound multiple times and have only been disappointed a couple times
We personally buy straight from growers and have a huge bidding war on the quality/stock. One of the biggest actually and also have low key smaller growers. Demand is so high, supply is so low, anyone with good quality stuff will not let it go for that cheap so its hard to comprehend that its possible for an online dispensary to sell for that cheap. Again, just personal opinion. But then again, taste and quality is subjective as well.

I came here to get a sense of what to charge for my extra this season. Ive been having a hard time getting people to pay $1000 for my organic notill living soil bud. I'd rate mine as AA-AAA and people have been offering me $800 saying there's a huge surplus right now. IMO what ive got is solid AAA but since it's outdoor people automatically assume it's worse and knock the price down.

Tbf, you could easily have said better by replacing importing by exporting hehe. That said, I've been in the scene for years (not anymore) and have witnessed all kind of weird price fluctuation and of course, mostly at this time of the year. Right now though, I never could explain the sudden raise that happened recently as it was way more than it used to be. So there had to be other reasons (I thought that legal price was somewhat a cause) and I'm very glad that we can get an answer from people directly in the scene atm. Cheers guys, love what ya'll are doing in both providing a competitive alternative and being informative.

Just about the price atm, yesterday was my birthday and I had some extra income (thanks mom) to drop on random stupid stuff. Went to check for good weed but the problem is that, if you shop a bit around, the gap between something that is pretty good and top shelf is just stupid. We used to get (or sell) crazy OZ for 160-180$ while there were 110$ alternative which sometimes were pretty satisfying. But now the 110$ is often crappy and top shelf is 240$+. Everything else in between is ALL AROUND THE PLACE in term of quality. So I bought nothing as this is the one time where no price seems right. So yeah, I hope this gets sorted out... but glad you guys shed a light upon a price increase that made no sense to me.

Take care.
