Hey gang,
Couldn't find a thread yet that talked about vape pens, if anyone has good link to the pros cons I'd really appreciate a point in the right direction. Thinking about trying them for ease mostly though, but not sure what the longevity is like.
Cheers,
Re: Intro to Vape Pens
2For stealth they are fantastic! I stood in a group of people on the street and puffed on a disposable vape pen...everyone thought I was vaping one of those gas station disposable e-cigs. Longevity that is a whole different story. I have had ones that outlasted the distillate and kept on firing after it was dry, i have also had ones that were faulty right out of the package, liquid turned black/brown, distillate had very little effect. I got fed up of ordering them and always feeling underwhelmed by their performance, it was always a gamble if Im going to get one that is going to work or if I got a dud. I dont have much experience in the rechargeable variety but you will always lose some due to designs of the carts. What I may suggest is something like a Yocan Magneto or Saionara. The Yocan is about the size of a highlighter and you can clean & reuse the coils ( I have a rotation of 5 coils that have been going strong for over a year). It may not be as stealthy since it will smell more strongly than a vape pen but I find it is stealthy enough that with very little effort nobody will know.
Re: Intro to Vape Pens
3I second the suggestion of a Yocan. They are way way more reliable, more effective, more versatile, parts are changeable, and they are easier to pace your puffs (I found vapour production of disposable pens will vary greatly depending on ambient temperature and how hard you puff). You can't go wrong with a Yocan Evolve Plus

4Oh man, thanks for the heads up, I was mostly worried about them busting down on me, but I'll check out the Yocan, hopefully it's stealthy enough just when you're out and about walking around though. Re: Intro to Vape Pens
5Im sure it will be stealthy enough. It is my go to for stealth when I need to take a quick puff and go. If you are going to get one order it directly from China...you will save a bunch of money but you will have to wait up to a month to get it (try dhgate or fasttech). Also dont forget a spare set of coils, I have found the ceramic donut coils to work the best for me.cansiscity wrote: Thu Apr 12, 2018 11:40 amOh man, thanks for the heads up, I was mostly worried about them busting down on me, but I'll check out the Yocan, hopefully it's stealthy enough just when you're out and about walking around though. 6Cheers bud! Will do, is it that much cheaper though? I can't handle a full month haha.Cpt_Krunk wrote: Thu Apr 12, 2018 12:01 pmIm sure it will be stealthy enough. Re: Intro to Vape Pens
7Umm it depends...ive seen a smoke shop asking $150 for it, which is completely absurd. I believe they were about $30 US direct from China plus $10 or so for a 5 pack of coils. They are also available on some Canadian websites. Just search around for a good price.cansiscity wrote: Thu Apr 12, 2018 6:43 pmCheers bud! Will do, is it that much cheaper though?
