Growing weed is cheap and there is so much competition now that we the consumers are winning. I don't know what "wash weed" is, but you can definitely put money on the fact some MOMs are doing shady shit. For instance, I ordered 4 types of hash samples from a MOM and none of them provided a buzz. Pretty sure they were made using leftovers from extractions. Apparently their extraction rate is very good cause there was no THC left in the materials used to make the hash, lol.

A huge issue in the business is dryness, that probably accounts for most of the too good to be true deals. 25 strains later I still haven't found weed that had humidity left in it... And those weren't from particularly cheap MOMs.

There are more common reasons why we might not see heads on the trichs such as not having developed to begin with. Washing should dissolve the stalks as well so I imagine it would look bare on the outside but still have crystals on the inside.

Efficient CO2 washing requires the plant material to be broken up. If it's in bud form then something like 50% of the THC could remain.

I remember this being confirmed on the old reddit sub. Some MOM's were selling CO2 washed product and identifying it as such. As always buyer beware. If it's too good to be true it probably is. I find the best cheap option is to get popcorn buds of AAAA strains. Ive bought shake from a few moms for brownies that had alot of small buds in it. I use it to roll joints for fishing because it keeps the bugs down and dosen't get me too stoned to drive or canoe.
