I have used Chronicbymail for a couple of months and have been generally happy (their Bubba Pink and Rockstar has been nice), but now they've gone on "summer vacation"(???), so I'm looking for a new MOM

To describe myself, I am neither a discount bud lover nor an ultra-conniseur: I want great AAAA bud, but I also would like specials and incentives to encourage me to try new strains/edibles/tinctures and such. I'm in Ontario, so free and fast shipping is also nice, and responsiveness is very important to me: non-response feeds paranoia that something has gone wrong, and is a total buzz-kill. I usually buy an ounce at a time, and like hybids and indicas the most (Pink Kush, Grandady Purp, and Rockstar are some of my favourites)

Been trying MOMs for a couple months now and my best experience so far has been with Kootenay Craft. I agree on all fronts except the air tight plastic jars... even with the bovedas they include shit is sometimes dried out if you happen to be buying something that's been sitting a while.

I don't think their jars are pre-filled. That said, they aren't the best jars out there, obviously switching them to Masons is a must (as with any weed). It's much better IMHO than vac sealed bags though, there is zero crushing the buds are nice.

As far as dryness goes, I'll admit a couple of the strains I got were dryer than others... I'm guessing some strains sell less and stand for longer before they are replenished.

Pretty sure they do pre pack everything which is my one issue with them, otherwise I don't see why I would get 2x14g Jars for an oz. Other than that though there isn't really anything more they could be doing, would be cool if they were able to ship in masons but then breaking becomes an issue. I also agree the plastic jars are better than vacuum packed, helps keep the bag appeal intact.

I don't think Kootenay's jars are air-tight. I could smell my order after opening the foodsaver bag. If the lids had a ring of rubber, or whatever, like a jam jar's lid, that seal them properly it would go a long way to improving humidity (and smell) retention.

@Kootenaycraft does your jar supplier have that option?

After doing my own research I went with cheapweed.ca because they seem to have amazing customer service (Tony has been great so far), their prices were decent, and shipping was totally free.

That said, I'm going to try out Koutenay Craft. Sounds very premium and nice, and you can't go wrong with a promo code plus free shipping.

I'll report back on how everything goes! Got an oz of Darth Vader on its way, recommended by Tony himself.
