Was that the response CP gave you? That's completely unacceptable. They once 'delivered' my parcel but it got placed in my neighbours box. Had the MOM put a trace on it and BOOM 2 days later they miraculously found it. Absolutely hate CP.

Hope you get your package or the MOM sends a replacement..depending on their policy.

I find you get treated differently each time, depending on your postal workers mood that day. I come from a small town, I know exactly when the mail arrives. Not to mention I have a tracking number I keep an eye on. It will say it's arrived at 11:30am (when they're done sorting) and that I have a notice card in my box indicating where I can pick it up. Except, if I go any time before 3pm or even the very next day, they claim "it's still being sorted", yet I see them filling peoples mail boxes up with the ad junk mail flyers. I realize it's not a horror story, but it annoys me to no end. Like how could you be dealing with the junk mail before sorting the priority mail I paid a premium on? Makes zero sense.

Only had one horror story, and that's when all mail was re-routed to Quebec instead of Mississauga during last Christmas. My package was naturally delivered to a different person, they even signed for it. Luckily the MOM came through and sent a replacement which made it in time for Christmas, so everything worked out, but still it is so stressful when you're there waiting for your medicine to arrive and someone else ends up getting it. I hope they enjoyed those few ounces and the free grams of shatter at least.

My small village is so nice I only have good stories to tell :) Heck if I miss a package with sig, I can just drive to the post office like 30 min later and pick it up even if the card says I can only pick it up the next day after 2 PM or some shit... cause I know the post woman does my street last and then goes back to the office.

Also one day I got 2 orders, one required a sig... She actually had me sign and told me I had another one over in the street box.

Glad it showed up. Always worrisome when it shows delivered or a notice to pick up and no card in box or no delivery attempt.
