What is a reasonable timeframe for processing and shipping? 8 days?

1
Just wanted some opinions on the matter. The first bunch of times I ordered from MOMs I would place an order, 5 minutes later get an email with payment instructions, send an EMT, an hour later get a confirmation EMT was accepted, a few hours later rec'd a tracking number. 3 days later I would be ripping open a package and enjoying the contents. Order on Monday, smoking on Thursday, (order product from BC, ship to ONT.) Perfect!
Today is Thursday. I have just rec'd a tracking number for an order placed on Monday. It shows up as "electronic info supplied by sender", meaning it hasn't even been rec'd by Canada Post yet. 3.5 days to just process an order. This means I'm looking at Monday at the earliest for delivery. 8 days from order to delivery. (Hopefully....)
Does this seem reasonable to everyone else? This is an established MOM with good reviews here.

The longest I've had to wait is 5 days, and that's because I live in a smaller city where packages go to a larger city in my Province first. So I always get it a day later.

I can see if the MoM mentioned that they're busy with orders, or on holidays, etc... but I wouldn't be too happy if there wasn't a notice saying it would take over a week to get your order. Let them know, maybe you'll get a little compensation or a coupon code for next order (if you want to, that is)

Hey OP

8 days definitely is too long IMO
I would say 24hours max is reasonable for delay after your payment is sent.. then allow " 1 more business day " if the cut-off time for delivery was not met

That being said 48 hours is what I would say acceptable, however most other MoM's do work faster than that under 12-16hours is the norm

I hope you have a faster and better experience next run =P
