So I've been ordering from MoMs for nearly a year now and overall it's been a pretty good experience, but in the past few months I've received quite a few packs of weed that give me a headache and taste like shit. As far as I know this is due to the weed not being properly flushed. My now old go to MoM sold ounces for $140, which admittedly is relatively cheap but for about 10 orders they sent me what I felt was pretty high quality weed, but the last few orders have been crap.

So is there anyway to guarantee that I'm not going to get a headache from the weed I'm buying? Obviously the easy answer is just to spend more but that's not really much of an option and I know what I'm looking for is available at the price I want because I've received it before. Not to mention the most expensive weed I've bought was probably the worst I've received, from a reputable MoM as well.

Getting crap weed these past few months has almost completely put me off ordering from moms all together as I've now wasted about $600 on trash weed.

PS - I pretty much only smoke from a bong, I find that even shit weed is decent in a joint but joints hardly do anything for me so they are a complete waste to me.

Really the simple answer is find a better mom, but to be honest I have maybe 1-2 moms that I believe
are reliable.. the rest I use for deals but only buy strains I like.

Try sticking with organics. I suffer from headaches as well... some products will give me headaches. Usually it’s concentrates and not flower, but I have had flower give me a headache. Ever since I switched to purchasing premium craft weed, it pretty much stopped happening.

I also have never gotten a headache from flower that was grown organically. Could just be a coincidence though.

I usually buy from Buy Low Green, not the most well known MoM but like I said they provided me with good stuff for awhile. I also got two orders from speed greens and neither of those were any good even though one of them was the most expensive ounce I've received from a MoM.

First I had their Master Kush but it was pretty cheap so I didn't expect insane quality but something smokeable for sure, then I had their Platnium Bubba which about $180/oz. Both were no good but the Master was definitely the better of the two.

Blg has lower quality almost homegrown level hence super low price my buddy was ordering fr them steady. Not one strain i cared for and got a headache like you said. Try checking out diff mom. Also. Order stuff with pictures that looks on the brighter colour spectrum as the yellowish stuff is sometimes imo either sun rotted or w/e. My personal view. I would recommend trying jjmeds. For quaility on budget. They usually have 3-4 strains at the 130-150 price point and always if you choose the right strains gl on your hunt man

Never had weed give me headaches so it seems like something specific with you, perhaps some kind of allergy.

I'm 99% sure it's something specific to the weed because the weed that does give me a headache all has a similar smell where it just smells like plain grass/ a bit of hay. I never got a headache from weed until about 6 months after I started ordering from MoM's. I find that smoking the weed through a joint doesn't give me a headache but it also doesn't get me high even after about a 2g joint so it's a complete waste of time haha.

Either way I really can't blame anyone but myself, like anything you get what you pay for and people have told me that multiple times, I guess I just got to consider myself lucky for getting a bunch of good orders before getting a bad one from them.

I don't understand how a joint would buzz you less than other methods. I smoke almost exclusively joints and they get me plenty high, despite a pretty regular use of concentrates.

I’m not trying to be rude, but it sounds like you’re not smoking good pot... a 2gram joint of good weed should get anyone baked.

Why don’t you try purchasing from hillsidepharms. They grow everything in-house and I’ve never gotten a headache from their stuff. Like I said, I’m very prone to headaches so I get your pain.. Not trying to be a dick here as I know you're just trying to help me out but yea, the weed I've just received isn't good, so the point of this thread was to hopefully find a better source. I've received good stuff from buy low green in the past but haven't on my past two orders so I am looking for another place with similar pricing and the same quality that buy low used to sell me. (They were consistently good for months, their Pink Kush was definitely better than the PK I got from KC.)

I meant that I can smoke as much of this bad weed as I want through a joint and I wouldn't get a headache but I also wouldn't get high. In general even full joints of good shit have never got me as high a few bong hits would, unless I take a break for awhile. To me it makes complete sense as I pretty much exclusively smoke out of a bong and there's no doubt a bong packs a much bigger punch than a joint.

I've looked into Hillside Pharms but in general it seems they are little out of my price range. Maybe I'm expecting too much out of what I'm willing to pay but I've received good stuff in my price range numerous times so I know it's out there.
