Alright okay so my issue starts feb 15th when i had decided to make a oz of shatter purchase from a reputable company which i have ordered from every 2 weeks for the last 2 months. i put in the order and then i was told on feb 16th they are out of what i ordered and they could send me it out on the next day which i agreed. From then my package was sent out. Everything seemed relatively normal untill my package had been at the processing facility in my city. it sat stationary for 2 days there. I then decided to reach out to canada post which they had told me to open a ticket which i did. I also contacted this mom right away and did not receive a response from them until a week later feb 28th. At which this point my package had been out for delivery on monday the 25th. its still out for delivery today just fyi never came. The mom had finally responded to me after i had sent a second email and told me now they have put in claim for my package and i have to wait till canada post deems it lost for me to receive any compensation. So ive been trying to get ahold of them to get an estiamte on how long this claim could take but still no response from their shipping department. I then opened an online chat on there website to try to figure it out. Which i was told to again contact shipping. I noted that i choose this place based on reveiews of customer service at which point suddenly the same person that could give me no information 30 seconds prior all of sudden could pull up my info and let me know. I was also informed from this person that they only have a 150 dollar replacement. Which i was unaware of because its hidden deep in the faq. and which point it tells you they will only replace up to 150 one time and if you dont like it order less. Now i have no issues with them setting policies as it is their company but to have this hidden deep in their faq. With their site having many options over 150 I dont think its fair to a customer to tell them that after there package is lost. i believe This should be notified to any person with more then 150 dollars in their cart. So now im at a stand still waiting for this mom to find out if my package is indeed lost and if it is. Then i have been told that i wont get my 500 back only 150.
Just looking for some clarity on this situation as this is my first time ordering big and the first time my order has been delayed 3 weeks.
Re: Lost Package/Looking for some insight

Re: Lost Package/Looking for some insight
3I would like to avoid naming the mom at this point in the case that it gets resolved and they handle it properly. I will be making a full post on this situation when it is resolved, at which point i will name the mom and make a detailed review of my experience. If Not sorted by the end of this week which will a little over 3 weeks since i ordered i will make the post thenJeffreid wrote: Mon Mar 04, 2019 2:24 pm This kind of shit is my worst fear ,pls name this mom so I can avoid .

Re: Lost Package/Looking for some insight
4Pretty sure I know who the mom is as someone on a fb group is going through the same issues, exact same thing, exact same resolution and policies.
Honestly I can see both sides. When you buy anything, whether it be a car, a house, a pack of gum or weed, there are T&C to take into account. Every retailer/website has them, and they are not in large font on the homepage. By ordering, you agree to their T&C.
That being said, it's a pretty shitty policy, especially since IIRC, CP insures up to 100$ for xpresspost packages lost or damaged. WHich means the mom is getting 100$ back, and sending you 150$ worth of stuff for your order. If you didnt order from them again, I wouldnt be surprised.

5This happened to me once, it takes about 3-4 weeks from the opening of the ticket for CP to look in to itSkeptikone wrote: Mon Mar 04, 2019 2:17 pm Alright okay so my issue starts feb 15th when i had decided to make a oz of shatter purchase from a reputable company which i have ordered from every 2 weeks for the last 2 months. i put in the order and then i was told on feb 16th they are out of what i ordered and they could send me it out on the next day which i agreed. Re: Lost Package/Looking for some insight
8This happening to me right now with an order. The ticket was just opened as no tracking was found and now I have to wait till the 14th for them do be able to do anything. It's pretty obvious from tracking that it's lost, and it sucks that an order I placed in Feb I wont get till hopefully end of March. Bummer, CP screwed up.
