At this point I will give them a 6/10. The product I paid for (Kandy Kush) was not very good IMO, but some of the samples they sent were good.

Ordering was simple, prices were pretty good.

Communication:

Communication is a 10/10.

They respond quite quick and definitely make it seem as though they care.

Packaging:

My weed came vacuum sealed in individual bags, then all the bags were put in another vacuum sealed bag, put in a mylar and then put in a box. Very good packaging.

Products / Photos:

This is where things get a bit rocky. I took advantage of their promo where they would send out a sample of all their products, I have only tried the Kandy Kush (which is what I paid for), the Violator and the Death Bubba. The Kandy Kush I really wouldn't recommend at all, after smoking it (through my bong) I felt light headed and had a headache. At first I wasn't positive if it was the weed but I am now positive as the Death Bubba and Violator all give me similar effects and I have since smoked some stuff a friend had which is not from this MoM and felt none of those effects. I am by no means a weed expert but I have ordered from a few different moms, all different strains (not to mention all the weed I had before ordering from moms) and have never had effects like this. I would not say this stuff is very safe to smoke. I guess can't expect much from a $99 oz but I've definitely had better stuff for less from MoMs..


This is the Kandy Kush

The weed looks pretty good which is why I was so surprised that it wasn't good. The smell in my non expert opinion is definitely off. At first it seems to have a good lemony smell but then just a bad aroma hits which I really can't describe.

EDIT 09/24/2018: I've tried some more of the samples and decided to update my review accordingly as I feel I was a little unfair. I still don't believe the Kandy Kush is very good but the Jet Fuel and Cherry Pie joints I smoked were good and I have no complaints. I still weight the product I paid for a little heavier than the freebies which is maybe wrong of me but it's just how I feel. I think overall you won't be disappointed with this MoM.

I also went with the sampler promo and had the opposite experience. Haven't got through all the strains yet but had no issues with the product. It was all good so far. Also got the concentrates sampler. Nice shatter and live resin. Good packaging. Got a grinder thrown in as well. Don't let this review scare you from trying them out yourself.

That's the part that gets me, I only made this order based on the fact that other people were saying the stuff they got was good. I'm probably as surprised as any that it wasn't good. I'm just trying to give my honest feelings on the product, I pretty much only smoke out of a bong and have felt nauseous and light headed from smoking the three strains I have tried from them and I don't have much interest in trying the others at this point. This is something I have not felt from weed ever, not even from stuff that is visibly lower quality than this.

Someone on the discord also mentioned to me that the hash he got from them gives off a black smoke and crackles real bad when burning.

I've been talking with this guy on Discord a good part of last evening and I have no reason to believe he's not being honest about his experience. Doesn't mean anyone else is wrong about theirs.

He shared pictures and we explored every angle, there is nothing visually wrong with the buds he received. That said he says the smell is off and that the effects are abnormal.

I'm not sure if all their buds are garbage but the three strains I have tried I do not like and have put me off even wanting to try the other strains. I was reluctant to even post this review because it seems most are happy with what they got but I sure as hell aren't and I am even less happy with the way they have handled my situation.

I'm just giving my honest opinion, and my opinion is it just wasn't very good and nothing I would recommend to anyone. Obviously anyone is more than welcome to try them yourselves and form your own opinion but it's not something I can recommend.

Got fat sacs of both Rockstar and Death Bubba also got the sampler, and my head ain't aching, maybe OP needs to see a doctor

Yeah I don't think I need to see a doctor or anything. I've since smoked weed that wasn't from this MoM and felt the high I am used to with none of bad effects I got from their Kandy Kush. No doubt in my mind that these ill effects is from their weed. I have a very hard time believing it's just a big old coincidence here.

I'm glad other people are enjoying what they bought, I wish I could say the same.

I just gave the Cherry Pie a whirl, probably my least favourite yet. Tastes like grass and left me feeling as if there is phlegm stuck in my throat. Reminds of some not very good locally grown stuff I can get.

I can say that if you order from this MoM you won't be disappointed with their customer service. Aside from having a policy to where they won't send any money back no matter the circumstances they have been great to deal with. I believe they have offered to send out another package to me.

hey ronald243, sorry the flower purchase u made from King Tuts makes u feel crappy when u smoke it...maybe turn it into some edibles so it isn't a total loss!

That sounds horrible and not something you should be risking your health over.

I only smoke from a bong 90% of the time as well. I know most of the A ($99 ounces) strains I've bought taste better in a joint than a bong, but I wouldn't try it unless you're willing to sample more of what you haven't tasted yet.

Agreed with making edibles! The potency might be there with edibles.

We did communicate quite a bit trying to come up with a solution but only accepting a refund isn't a fair solution. We have plenty pf products up to choose from. Saying that you simply did not trust our products, isn't quite fair either, as we did get some nice reviews. In most cases, a review is a review and I'll take my lumps as they come and not try and defend the company from a persons opinion. Readers need to know that I would have done anything but send a refund in this case. How is it possible that we could have not found a middle ground to get you something you were happy with? I don't believe that I totally failed you as a customer Ronald, I believe that you wouldn't allow middle ground to try and make it right. Thanks for the good customer service opinion though, as we did have more than several emails together a long with a phone call. No one was trying to duck and dodge the situation, I was trying to come up with a satisfying solution.

Just wanted to add something from my own experience that may help, or not...
I order from a few different MOM's and from IG and always try and stick to the high quality providers. Price is not too much of an issue but I try and keep an eye on it.
Usually an order will be an Oz of various high potency Kush strains and that will last me almost 2 + months.
Now vaping the same weed everyday gets you used to it's composition and your body adapts to it.
When I start getting low and order from a different place, the herb does one of 2 things to me:
1- If it is higher quality than what I had, it gets me super stoned the first time and then levels out.
2- Nothing really happens, usually get a headache and upset with the herb and go back to my old stock.

Over the years I have learned how to deal with this issue.
All new bud goes into a Mason jar with a Boost/Boveda pack for at least 5 days to a week. Keep them sealed and forget about them.
Take out a few buds and let them adjust for 30 minutes before grinding.
For me this improves everything about the buds!

As an example, I love Pink Kush and asked my new guy if his was good.
Usual response as always, the best out there super strong, amazing nose etc...
When it arrived I opened it up and gave it a smell and it was meh at best and vaping it sucked!
A week in the jar and it is a different story!!

I find all bud tends to require a bit of love when received from a MOM for best experience.

I hear you about storage and thanks for the reply and or your opinion. We take great lengths and do our absolute best to store and ship our product so it's stays fresh and at optimal temp and humidity levels. We store all of our stock in a dark room at room temperature. We make sure that all of our stock has the proper amount humidity packs with them. We use Boveda. We also ship EVERY order with Boveda packs.

I mention, just to reiterate on the importance to us doing our best in quality control.

I wish Roland and I could have come up with a fix on that situation. We have some really nice products to choose from, that I'm SURE he would have found as an acceptable solution.

I'm not afraid to mention that we have had a couple of issues but were easily taken care of. More often that not, the shipped solution will be leaving with a bit more than agreed upon and taken care of right away.

Again, I wish Ron luck, ESPECIALLY if the Cannabis is used for medicinal purposes.

I decided to try a couple of the samples in a joint (Jet Fuel and Cherry Pie) and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised (I hadn't smoke most of them, only the three I mentioned earlier which I smoked through a bong), it got me where I wanted to be and felt no bad effects so I will have to update my rating and review accordingly. I was probably a bit unfair to King Tut and I have no excuse for that other than my frustration. I still believe that something is off with the Kandy Kush and maybe it is wrong of me but I weight the products I paid for a little heavier than freebies. Overall I can't say it was a complete waste as I got a nice grinder and a bunch of samples for free. I think if you order from this MoM you generally won't be disappointed.

Have you had kandy kush before? Maybe that strain just doesn't agree with you? I know of a few strains that don't agree with me.
