Just curious as to what appeals to you when it comes to a MOM?
What makes try the places you do?
What makes you go back?
What are some specific things you look for/like from the MOM you use?
We're always looking to improve or offer things people want, so any and all feedback is welcomed.
Re: What do you look for in/from a MOM?
2I personally always look for bulk pricing, mix and match deals, and if it's a new MOM, reviews from outside sources. (Reddit, CanadianMOM, personal blogs, anything that isn't directly connected to your site)
Besides those things, it always makes me feel better when a site is willing to show a "bulk" picture of a strain.
Everyone always has these perfect pictures of one nug, and you never know what the rest of it looks like, or if that was the only appealing nug in the whole batch. I feel much more confident in any purchase when I can see a bunch of the same strain in one picture, and it all looks good.
As for what makes me go back, the only thing that's going to keep a loyal customer is better quality and better prices. Otherwise it's the same as 1000 other places.

3Quality, consistency and great customer service is what I look for. It’s also nice to get a first timer coupon when trying a new place.
Re: What do you look for in/from a MOM?
4Wide range of concentrates such as diamonds, htfse, live resins, distillate also bulk pricings. Products for everybody whether its a premium price point or a more budget friendly option
Re: What do you look for in/from a MOM?
5Quality product at a range of prices, or just focus on a niche - but ultimately value vs whatever price point.
Ease of use, reliability of website + consistent customer service
First-time discounts + seasonal promotions
Aside from those basics, I personally prefer sites that don't try to bullshit you. If a source specializes in bulk, do bulk extremely well. If you're offering mids, offer them cheaply. If you're offering top shelf, make sure you never disappoint the more discerning user base.

6I also prefer a Mom takes more time and select the quality of the flowers rather than some cheap lemon weeds. You get what you pay for but also be honest about it. I do not mind paying premium but make sure it is premo if ur gonna charge me that much.
Re: What do you look for in/from a MOM?
7I personally like MOMs that sell RSO, distillate and edibles. When I do buy flower I like quads and love looking on here for sales
Re: What do you look for in/from a MOM?
9I feel based on the interactions we have
1) PRODUCT
2) HOW FAST IT ARRIVES (out of MOMs control though tbh all CP)
3) Service + responses

10The magic to getting me as your customer involves striking a critical balance between quality/price ratio, then I look for customer service (the MOMs I'm currently favoring talk to me via email, engage on the forums, give me heads up on products they think I'll like in a way that doesn't make me feel like I'm being mass email spammed!) an accessible free shipping point, mix and match options, and free gifts.
Speed of arrival is out of MOMs control. If I feel like a valuable customer who's getting good deals and not just that but my package is special for me cause you love being my dealer in this modern era and not just that but the weed is real nice? Then you have my attention.
The real reason the Green Ace won me over as a customer was that the person behind the wheel just randomly emailed me stuff like "oh we're getting in some fresh Blue Cheese, I know you liked that strain" instead of newsletters when they were kicking off, and for the first time in my MOM history I felt like I was part of the family and not just a customer, like someone over there actually knew my name and remembered what I liked. It was silly, but I liked how it felt a bit more like "I have a guy" while still functioning as a storefront, and now we've got some rapport and they send me some free stuff so of course I'm going to also make some of my larger orders from them too. They do proper newsletter emails now but I loved it.
On the other hand, Speedgreens won me over as a customer because I was just wowed by their presentation and I'm excited every time I get one of their packages. They knocked the game out of the park. King Tut? I was excited to see how engaged they were in the community and continue to be.
So those are the things that are important to me besides the #1 GREAT CANNABIS! If you sell me killer bud that knocks everyone's socks off then I'll drop back in for more on principle. Just maybe not as often if the price is as high as I'll get.

Re: What do you look for in/from a MOM?
11It won't be a surprise to other members here but what I look for is top shelf product. REAL top shelf product. Most MOMs have pretty shit/average weed, sure it can be great value if the price is right, but I'm not looking for a good priced hamburger, I'm looking for filet mignon. I'm also looking for consistency, which seems to also be an issue even with the top MOMs (tried CE recently and their 90$ quarter of FC GSC was dry and pretty shit despite all the rave reviews).
Price obviously is always nice if it's low for the quality, but for the level of stuff I'm looking for, I'm no expecting cheap.

Thebest strain I ever got from CE was their AAAA Pink Kush at 220$. And I’ve tried all their 5star. Classic case of the inconsistency xsinx is referring to. If your weed is more expensive, it better be of higher quality and consistent.
Oh.. and my weed has to smell. If you sell me faint smelling weed at a premium price I’m not coming back. And 80% of moms do this from my experiences.
Re: What do you look for in/from a MOM?
13I'm just here to read xsinx posts. That and try to learn and be better every day. You guys and girls are tough to please and so it should be. You have lots of options and those that earn your business and praise, must be doing something right. I don't think there is a better way to build an online company in this industry than to pay attention, and interact in this forum and the discord. I have learned a lot, that's for sure! My success is very little but growing and I know I owe some of it to you guys. That's a fact.
Re: What do you look for in/from a MOM?
14I personally look for a MOM with high quality product and fair prices to go with it , I primarily use Concentrates these days so a nice selection to choose from is appreciated, especially in the Sativa and Hybrid Dept as I find Indicas to be dominant out of most MOMS product selection.
Great customer service and communication are very very important to me (I feel this is lacking with alot of MOMS). Fast process and shipping out times is important as well.
Monthy coupons/promos are also much appreciated.
With so many MOMS out there and customers, it's hard to feel like a place actually wants my buisness these days and gives a crap about understanding my needs etc as a customer, getting that feeling from a MOM be amazing.
Cheers

Re: What do you look for in/from a MOM?
15I tend to look for quality, fair prices, consistency and honesty. All things that I find are hard to come by just because there are so many MOMs out there I never know where to go or where to start. Glad I found this site though, seems extremely helpful
Re: What do you look for in/from a MOM?
16Consistency above all else. MOMs that are in it for the long haul always always come out on top rather than those looking to make a quick buck
