I am looking into the Ardent Nova decarboxylater. This thing is supposed to make perfectly decarboxylated weed time after time it decarbs Kief, shatter and other concentrates it also infuses oil.

I am wondering if anyone has smoked properly decarboxylated weed and what were the results?

A youtube reviewer said he smoked his weed before and after decarboxylation and he said it was more potent after.

I have no experience with decarbing but I am very interested in learning and using this thing.

I would assume smoking decarbed weed would be pretty horrible on the taste.. Plus smoking or even vaping decarbs on the go so... This is more for edibles.

I have no sense of smell or taste potentcy is all I care about. From some of the videos I have been watching they were saying the decarbbed weed is better to smoke and vape for potency. I am aware that it decarbs as you are smoking or vaping but would it or could it be better if pre decarbbed?

I don't see why it would be any stronger, but I guess you could test it with an oven before splurging a ton on that machine.

I have the Ardent Nova Lift also but have never decarb to smoke since I was just under the assumption combusting it would achieve the same result and waiting 2+ hours for the process just isn't feasible.. I just found out about the silicone sleeve add-on for oils and concentrates and am curious to try it..have you used the sleeve?

Oops just realized you were asking about it for purchase.. works pretty good,calls for 14 or under grams to be loaded at one time max but I just grind mine an can fit around 30g it does take longer though..again I only use it for edibles currently(until I order the sleeve)

Could you try smoking some and let me know if that is true?

at the time I bought it my oven didn't work and I had a shit heap for a LL so I went over a year without..Ardent was 200 and change..

ya I'd grab it again even now that my ovens working,just push a button and it decarbs til it's internal heat gauge has reached its temp fully ,no smell and my edible strength is really potent

That's what I wanted to hear. I will be buying one in a couple of weeks.

If the decarbed weed is more potent smoking that will make me very happy I can't wait to make some edibles too.

I have a half lb of Sour Diesel waiting to be made into edibles. I just hope that it will make not very potent unsmokeable weed into something useful or something ok to smoke once decarbbed.
