As a community, are we really going to accept these guys after the shady shit they've done? I honestly don't care how 'fire' their weed is because there's bomb weed everywhere - we're hardly starved for options. This MOM has literally admitted on here to paying chinese hackers to steal emails and who knows what else. That should be an immediate black list. Not only did they obtain their email lists unethically, but now we know that some fucks in China have all kinds of data on us. How do we know they stopped at emails? Maybe they've got our IDs, our home addresses, our phone numbers. As far as I'm concerned this is serious shit and not too many people are chiming in to condemn it. Fuck these guys. They shouldn't be allowed to shill their product on here.

Yeh i know, but if a MOM is outsourcing their 'marketing' to China, I think we can deduce that something else is going on. Either way though, even if they're story is true and it was just good ol' marketing that they paid for, like you said it's a terrible way to enter the scene

For fuck sake, it's a startup mom, probably a 2-3 person operation, did they really need external consulting to get into the market? BWIB sent a few sample packs to get started, no sketchy shit. I will stfu if they send me a free zip though, just sayin. Otherwise they can suck my left nut and sell their stuff in China if they feel so inclined.

I bet that works often.

Never had to say it tbh, and not at all serious about it as well.
And it's not a question of support. These fuckups played a dangerous game with all of our personal info, I will damn well never order from them because of that. Add to that they dont reply to any posts asking about the issue, but will not hesitate to push their products. Selective message replying and exporting marketing halfway accross the world to sell weed, spamming people's inboxes on reddit. Yeah, how can I not support them, right?

I agree with not supporting their fishy methods, and that it absolutely should've been handled differently by them. I just think it's whack to state you'd no longer talk negatively about them for a free zip.

This company should be removed.. If they are willing to source info by potentially illegal means, then imagine what they might do with your info once they have it? The trust for this MOM is zero.. Remove them.

This is a common tactic used for a lot of businesses. To outsource emails to obtain a customer base that they otherwise do not have. It may not be a proper way to do things, especially in this 'game' where personal info and trust is the number one priority.

I have accepted a sample package from them using an unidentifiable box / information to see how the recieval of package etc is, and to hopefully further find out an honest answer regarding this situation.

There could be Ill intentions, It could be an honest mistake - we must also remember both this community and Reddit seem to worship JJmeds, somebody who has performed a personal info breach once before and is back as the 'top of the list'. Theres was not the same scenario, however it was still a breach of trust, and they were given another chance.

I believe as a community we should allow them to take the opportunity now to explain themselves properly, and for us to respond and act MATURELY back to figure this out together. Not to tell them to 'give a zip or suck a nut'. We arent thirteen. Advertisement is something that is absolutely necessary in the business industry. It must be executed properly and professionally however.

Well said! Let’s see what they have to say about this. Let us know how their stuff is

I fully disagree. They have abused the basic trust of the community off the hop. Buying stolen info, or just buying info period, goes against the ethic of hard work-its lazy and shady and I don't support it. There is no need to use information obtained by questionable means to market cannabis in Canada, full stop.

You wanna hear em out, go right ahead, but do not speak for me, because I don't care what their bullshit excuse is, and I won't be doing business with them.

Fool me once...

Re: HighTHC

UPDATE: We just removed their MOM status here and pulled them from the MOMlist.

We are still looking into it, but it seems email lists may have been bought. There's also the post from them that seems to admit that the emails were sourced through a foreign marketing firm.. We're aware of these claims but it does seem unlikely that they weren't aware of the original source of the emails.

Agreed lol. Notice how he says he received free shit, so of course his tone changed. JJs was breached, they didn’t actively search out and purchase customer info. Not sure how he’s even relating the two cases

Re: HighTHC

They definitely did shady shit, I'm happy got my shady zips of BC Kush before they are gone....back to the only few mom's that get acknowledged here lol getting closer and closer than ever to Reddit oh the joys lmao, on a serious note what they did was wrong and not necessary, as someone said earlier this isn't a hard game usually the smoke sells itself and that probably would of been the case with these guys if only they approached it properly, too bad so sad on to the next!!!

I’m sure they’re trying to playing dumb. It’s like you said, it’s unlikely they didn’t know what was going on..

I personally won’t be buying from them, regardless if they’re placed back on the momlist or not. Plenty of legit places to order from.

Coming from someone who only posts rave reviews to any dipshit mom willing to send you free samples, I couldnt care less of your opinion. Tony weighed in on the whole Apex situation, and his position irks me a little bit.
