In the 80s and 90s people were just figuring out growing indoors under HID lights. During that time potency increased dramatically and it wasn't uncommon for people to find weed that was twice as strong as they were used to. Those experiences are the basis for the anecdotes about the legendary weed of days past.
These days we're all used to high potency weed and finding double strength strains just doesn't happen anymore. The potency graph has leveled off. Strains of today are distinguished more by their terps than their THC content.

42I wish people did research. Pinkman goo 18%thc purple nuken 27%. I don't get high on gsc, bubbakush or og strains. The 90s mostly hash but get some real bc skunk or equivalent. No sharing other than your best friends. I smoke 96% thc daily in concentrate. Thc does not equal high.

and I'd say the bud is very commercialized in that wholesale feel (-1), saying that, I love this old school mom
and its amazing old school strains with new. Recommend the AA mixer OZ @$130

buds were popcorn size rated AAA - 4 days travel needed bovedas I added 5 x 8 grammers
the batch seems to have not been flushed quite right/taste chemicals, harsh grape taste,
much better at higher moisture level.
Sugar Black Rose - Rated AAAA - near 2 grammer looks pretty taste was like the black diamond
hard taste to describe and not super pleasant but not bad. the high is nice, a nice relaxing high.

Contacted mom thru thread on canadianmom and was excepted to write review on mom/strains.
Packaging was tough to get into, no smell, tissue paper and packing paper, lighter , stickers.
labels were nice but I need them to pop more so easier to read in my containers
I find it bothersome, reviews are disabled on moms site. I am a Indica only lover.. was mentioned.

both counts were short and small disappointment at 4.5g for $65. also pink kush unavailable at counter.

Quadra - nice 2.5g+ bud and smaller gram one, sticky nice moisture, nose was muteish with dirty hayish undertones, still that
being said reminds me of old school weed and packs a clean wicked punch and there is a nice taste sortof mid way thru smoke - first bong
Shishkaberry - grew this many years and staple in my life for a decade so looking forward to this as looks close to what I remember
