Cheap Weed Free Shatter

Hey all,

Gonna keep this one pretty short, recently picked up some weed off these guys based off their promotion on the free oz of shatter. What I received however sizzled really bad and was harsh as crap on my throat. I am not the most well versed so I mentioned something on Discord where some more knowledgeable sources told me to take a lighter to it on my dab tool.

Thanks for bringing this up to our attention,
That seems very unusual in terms of lighting affect however I have sent a voicemail to my extractor to see if there was any issues or leakage upon purging..

I do feel that we do have a type of quality control and consistencies so to see that is very unusual however I do sincerely apologize and hope there is still some benefit or usage for the shatter you have received.

Would be upsetting to see that go to waste :( perhaps it's only a part of the batch, please let me know and if anyone has any other questions or concerns please feel free to give me a PM or an email directly

Unfortunately it does this no matter where I grab the dab from. It is definitely the whole batch and I don’t have the proper tools to purge it either. I have let a few friends try it and same feedback from all. Disappointing as I was hyped on the promo but this has left a sour taste in my mouth quite literally.

No complaints whatsoever on the bud but this shatter should have never made it out the door man.

I've tried that lighter trick many times on cheap shatters and never once got any sort of popping or sparking as seen in your video. They've always just melted. Sorry that happened but thank you for sharing your experience with the community.

One suggestion I've read that can be done in this case is to decarb the shatter in the oven or over a double boiler. That process should also purge some of the remaining solvents.

Even free there should be a minimum quality test before being sent to you, that stuff is toxic.
Ya it was kinda funny when people were telling me omg you’re complaining about free stuff? Umm it’s not really free when it’s the only reason I purchased in the first place. And not so useful when you can’t even smoke it.

Such a joke...

Thanks for the tip and the kind words man I appreciate it. Yea it seemed off right away like I said I’ve never smoked anything that sizzled like this. Definitely seems very unsafe to be smoking this and still not sure how this made it through quality control in the first place.

It's a shame they won't budge on mixing the strains for their QP's or 1/2lbs. I spend $400 to $1000 every time I place a MOM order but I don't want to be saddled with one strain so unfortunately I won't be buying from these guys ever. Good promo though.

Thanks for sharing your honest feedback with the community and I will take this to my extractors attention and see what went wrong

However I have reviewed a lot of shatter I have on hand currently and I do not seem to get that same effect.
It is unfortunate and I am disappointed myself, however please note we did not offer this promo with the idea of giving out bad quality product.

We have a set standard for quality expectations which is why we choose to retail the products in which we do.

Hey Kinghosss,

As we are still fairly new, we will take the time to consider all feedback and suggestions provided to us.
I feel that QP is something we can do in the near future but a matter of when and how we plan to roll this out with our promotions happening..
However if anything new does arise, we will bring this to your and the communities attention!

Might be worth making a new thread but BCMedi and OKG are good options for bulk flower that have been around the community for some time.

If you're feeling more adventurous I've found some solid Double Dream for less than $550/HP that I can recommend.
