Hey CMOM forums,
I own a Weedmaps delivery company based in Calgary, Alberta. We average about 11k/month in revenue, all of our transactions are done through Interac E transfers. I do not know jack shit about doing taxes for a business, or wether to even file for taxes. Is the CRA going to be on my ass for receiving 15k/month in E transfers?? How are other small MOM's dealing with taxes or are even doing taxes is my question. Taxes really is a bitch, I understand if your Cheapweed those guys probably receiving 500k+ E-transfers a month, but for a small MOM is it even worth doing taxes. Any accountants or anybody working for the government let me know aha!
Re: Taxes and The CRA, how many E-Transfers is to much
2Not trying to bring politics into the mix, but part of the PC platform is to pump a bunch of new money into the CRA to go after tax evasion.
I wouldn't chance getting on the CRA'S radar. Make yourself a health store or auto parts store on paper and submit GST at least. Talk to a proper accountant on how to do this.
