Zkittles (AAA+) from Cannalyft Indica

Cross: Grape Ape x Grapefruit

Visual: It had a craft look to me because the visuals were amazing. It looked untouched with all the foxtails and crystal in pristine condition. It was a dark bud overall with dark green/blacks and spots of lighter green light orange hairs. I could see the heads of the Trichomes, and it was a very dense bud.

Nose: The nose was amazing! Like sweet candy and a vanilla cake and when I opened it up there was a hint of gas.

Cut/Roll/Grind: It was easy to grind and to cut up. It was a bit sticky, and it had a great moisture level.

Taste: It had a very pungent and flavourful taste as well. It was also like sweet candy and cakey with some spiciness. It was very appealing.

Burn: The burn was awesome! It gave lots of smoke, the ash was nice, and it burnt slow.

Potency/Effects: This Zkittles had a bit of a punch to it, and it built up well. The effects were relaxing, and it put me in a calm mood. It was not the type of strain to take you out, but it provided a deep overall buzz with a bit of alertness in the brain. It would be good for day and evening.

Punky Lion (AAA+) from Cannalyft 100% Indica

Cross: Chronic x Matanuska Tundra

Visual: This one also had great visuals with a nice structure and big, sparkly crystal. It had a bit of a blueish grey tinge to it in the dark area which covered most of the bud. There were patches of light brown hairs and it was very dense.

Nose: The nose was earthy and a bit sweet and piney. There was something else in there like a hashy smell almost. It wasn’t as pungent as the Zkittles was.

Cut/Roll/Grind: It held back a tiny bit in the grinder because of the density. It was easy to cut and it had a good feel to it. It was a bit sticky and it had a good moisture level.

Taste: The flavour was good. I got the pine and I got a punkiness from it along with some gas and woodiness.

Burn: The burn was awesome with a light clingy ash and big smoke. It was very clean and smooth.

Potency/Effects: It had a bit of a punch to it, and the effects were heavy. I got a late-night vibe from it which was very relaxing with a body stone and an appetite boost. I could still think but I had a bit of sleepiness roll in. Good for night time.

Grease Monkey (AAA+) from Cannalyft Indica

Cross: GG4 x Cookies & Cream

Visual: It was a chunky bud with beauty visuals as well. There was lots of pristine crystal all over and mostly light orange hairs but a few yellow ones as well. It had some of the dark green, black spots as well as some light and forest greens. It was very dense.

Nose: The nose was piney and sweet. It had a bit of a peppery spiciness, but it was also a bit light on the nose.

Cut/Roll/Grind: It fluffed up a bit in the grinder and it was easy to cut and grind up. It was a bit sticky and it had a good moisture level.

Taste: The taste was more pungent than the nose. I got the pine and a bit of the hashy spiciness. The taste continued throughout the joint. It was very pleasant.

Burn: The burn was awesome as well! Very nice ash, lots of smoke, and it was clean.

Potency/Effects: I got a good punch from it and it built up into a good potency level for me. It hit me in my brain with a little bit of an energy boost at first but then it stated to take me out with a happy and heavy Indica effect. It would be good for evening or nighttime.

Rockstar Tuna from Cannalyft Indica

Cross: Rockstar x Tuna Kush

Visual: They were medium sized buds that had a dank look to them. There was a little bit of greens, but it was mostly a grayish black and tons of sparkly and crystal. It had patches of light brown hairs. It had a craft look to it with an awesome structure and visuals. It was very dense.

Nose: The nose was a little bit light at first but them came alive when I started to open it up. It was skunky and gassy and had a bit of a funk to it. Most of the strains this round sparked some memories with the noses on them.

Cut/Roll/Grind: It was easy to grind and cut up. It had a great feel to it, and it was very sticky. The moisture level was great.

Taste: The taste was very flavourful! I got lots of pine and skunk and gas with a big woody aftertaste.

Burn: The burn was awesome! All of the strains did this round. The ash was nice, and it gave lots of smoke and it burnt slow. It was a great smoke!

Potency/Effects: This one had a good punch in my nose, and it built up well into a great potency level for me. The effects kept building up throughout the entire session and it messed up my brain a bit. It took me out with its sedating effect, and I got a positive vibe and a heavy buzz from it.
