Long time lurker, first-time reviewer here. What brings me out of the shadows you might ask?? Well it's just plain simply the best damn customer service I have ever had along with some great products. I had to scream this from the mountain tops!
I saw a post here someone asking about The Herbal Coast and if anyone had used them, not too many responses from members here but their staffer Richard responded with a very convincing write up so I took a look at their site. Pretty nice site, Easy to navigate and looked pretty professional.

They had a big 420 sale with some amazing prices, but because I himmmed and hawwed so long I missed it. Lucky for me they have another May month promo that is pretty good too so I contacted them via their livechat and spoke to their customer care Jane. She was just awesome! You don't get customer care like that anymore. She talked (or typed) me through the whole process from setting up my account to suggestions for my first purchase and everything in between. I think we spoke for 30 mins! LOL

Anyways, I'm blabbering (I've been told I do that)...Long story short. Their great, service was great, shipment was great, Jane was great, packaging was great, products were great (especially their Herbalcoast blue dream shatter, seriously!), great, great, great, great. Jane also told me because I was a first time customer so I get a free 1/8th! Plus I got another surprise gram of Purple kush in my package for saying I was from Canadianmom! Like I said GREAT!

Ordering and pricing
Ordering was simple, pay via e-transfer. Pricing is great. Some of the cheapest prices I've ever seen for concentrates. The flower prices are very competitive at regular price, but their sale prices are very good

Communication
Do I really need to answer this one?? LOL. Fantastic! I've emailed them a few times and their responses were within 30 mins. And the livechat is super

Packaging
It was free shipping via Canadapost xpresspost. My package was a nice white cardboard box that was double vacuum sealed (seemed excessive but I'm not complaining). Inside was fluffy cotton padding and some business cards. Very nice presentation I must say. And I got it in 2 days



Products
It's getting pretty late here so I'm gonna make this short and sweet (audience starts clapping)
Flowers all came packaged in clear baggies with nice detailed stickers on each. Each strain was nice quality. The Master Kush bag had some loose bits in there so that hurts presentation a bit. But that's just being fussy

Here's my order
3.5 grams AMS. Great daytime high, let me go happily along with my day.But with the occasional pause of...ohh shit, i'm pretty high
3.5 grams Skywalker OG. Nice big nug, saving thiss one for the weekend
3.5 grams Master Kush (FREE for new customers). This one turned me into a couch monster. That couch just swallowed me up. Exactly what I needed after a long day and right before bed
1 gram Purple Kush (FREE for saying I'm from Canadianmom). Strong indica reactions. Major body buzz that just got me floating afterwords
1 gram Herbalcoast Blue dream shatter. The bomb, very nice taste with a potent wallop that snuck up on me. Very impressive shatter
1 gram Moroccan hash. Haven't done hash in ages so saving this one for the weekend. Smells so delicious though I was so tempted to hit it today

I don't have a scale but everything looked good, shatter looked really healthy

I've tried Herbal Coast as well and I can confirm that they're dope. The 77% Ultra Master Shatter (Green Gold) is probably my best tasting shatter of all time, and the Blue Dream is great too. I also got some flower from them, which all looks amazing, but haven't gotten a chance to try it yet.

Of the 4 flower strains you received, which one's your favourite?

Yesterday while i was writing that review I would have said the AMS, it got me just going and going. Very enjoyable and able to focus. But right before bed I took a quick hit of the Skywalker OG and oh man! That hit me like a hard indica does and just put me in my place, I caught myself in bed staring at the blank tv for a few mins before I conked out. Deff Skywalker is the top out of those 4. Keeping that one for evenings.

Ya, I thought that shatter was really big. I was thinking maybe it just looked like that because of the smaller container, but ya it's big. Gotta get me a little scale one of these days. And as for the bonus, I really am not expecting the "bonus", it would be nice though! But my experience from my first purchase was good enough to get me coming back for more. I'm ordering again right now actually, they got a sweet mother's day deal goin on for $95 oz Death Bubba so I'll update ya if my experience is any differnt

If you are referring to the thickeness, it wasn't thick at all. Maybe the picture looks that way but it was (yes WAS... all gone now!) a bunch of thin sheets stuck together. A little trick I learned is to stick it in the freezer for a min, then it separates easily after that.....

A few updates since my last post, I hit that skywalker OG during the day on the weekend to see if it hits me differently during the day. Man it's still a heavy hitter. It was like waves of "where am I?", then "oh yaa, here I am!" Then repeat... LOL. I got through the day but definitely not the one to do on lunch break at workI! I am really enjoying that one and it's my fave out of the flowers I got.....

.....And now to my special delivery from the mother's day special they had. After such a pleasant, no sorry. After an EXCEPTIONAL first experience, I didn't think it could get better. Richard proved me wrong. Not only did I get an amazing deal from the special, Richard came through as he said and included a VERY nice gift AND a handwritten thank you letter to boot, for the review! I'm not sure why, but he asked me in the letter not to say what the gift was so I won't. But I will say it is very nice and I am enjoying it now!

Bottom line.... with the prices alone it's a great place to shop, but the customer support and personal service just push it over the top

customer support and personal service 100% ......for me there is no greater turn off than seeing how certain moms react when negativity hits them. the louder they bark the faster they vanish.
