So i was looking at dispensaries on google and i see a weird ad on google saying reddit is Canada's #1 Online Source for Marijuana. Of course i click thinking i would just see the forum. From what i see, it is Tony from Cheapweed using a shill bot for his paid advertising on google for cheapweed,
He had a paid ad for his shop before but it must have been taken down, which is why he tried to go the reddit route instead to promote. (This is obviously Tony because he would have control of the ad and will be actively paying for it)
His user handle is canadiantress on reddit. I brought up this fact to show that Tony is very elaborate in his handle/ shiling with the CMOM forum and reddit, which means you cannot to trust all the reviews that you see from a MoM. Take a look for yourself:

It would be misleading but not a scam... if he was doing the Ebay thing of showing pictures of the product and then mailing a print out of that picture, than yes I would consider that scamming since you didn't get the product you thought you ordered, but this I would relate to someone standing on the street with a sign or handing out cards... definitely not the same thing.

Good point I forgot about the advertising rules, however I doubt this is him. Not sure how they would be able to figure that out either, but hopefully some type of action is taken against CanadianTrees & Allieb84.

2 replies to 1 post remind me of the people on a crusade to slander CW, I'd say I'd be fairly confident in them not being CW, why go through to effort to create a hidden link if it's useless, that would be some mastermind planning... From what I've read you earn a % of sales through referral that can be paid in cash or product, which makes sense why people would approach it like a job and pay for AD Space, money makes money. Yes I'm clueless how two accounts of the same person some how means it is a CW worker, how do we know you didn't do this yourself to slander their name? we don't.

I'm not saying this is or isn't whatever outcome, just that more information is needed to make a qualified judgement.
I'm only throwing in my input due to this being another accusation based on theory, which IMO would be a lot more credible had it come from an actual customer or a user with posts dating back before June.

I have bought a fair amount from Tony and have nothing but good to say about this outfit. I will continue to do business with Cheapweed regardless of what's said here. My experience with this MOM has been stellar to date.

Did you bother looking into how much ads costs? It's 1-2 bucks per click on the link I think if im understanding it right, with the affiliate program that would absolutely add up and pay off. It really is cheap, I kinda think you're the clueless one? Have you looked into the cheapweed affiliate program at all? You get a referral link and use that link. He's trying to work that.

sorry my evidence was by observing the google searches for MoMs

the steps went like this:

day 1 : google ad for cheapweed
day 2: cheapweed ad got taken down
day 3: google ad for cheapweed in the form of reddit "referral" LOL
day 4: (reddit referral taken down) new ad for reddit referral

Pretty funny how Tony tried to create an ad first and then right after his "affiliates"
