I picked up a 3.5g along with their concentrate deal last week, the boss told me it was their proudest flower so I figured I'd try it out! I can't find the product online anymore looks like they ran out, if I remember right it's a cross between Cookies+Cream and Thin Mint GSC?

In any case, it looks fantastic (the picture doesn't do it justice, colors are slightly off with my camera). The buds are caked and have wildly varying hues, similar to "breath" strains, it's very exotic looking. There are some black leaves in there, with lighter greens and the caking makes it look like it has grey spots where the trichs mix with the blacker leaves. Absolute beauty!

The nugs I got were kinds small, not popcorn but close. Humidity was a bit low to my liking, even though it came with a boveda inside the package.

The nose is very exotic, I can't quite place it, I never had anything quite like it. It's as "weird" as Cactus Breath is, for those who had it. The dryness made it pretty faint though, right out of the bag it wasn't very strong.

I wasn't impressed at all by the smoke though... While it wasn't harsh, the taste that dominates is a mix of pepper and spice. I'll admit those two tastes are the ones I least like in weed, but those who like that would be served! The smoke was smooth, not particularly thick. There are also very subtle hints of floral terps coming through, in the range of tea/coffee. Those little spikes were very faint and few though.

I'd rate this at a 8/10 (not letting the spice/pepper skew the note here). On the A scale I'd say it's closer to an AAA than the advertised AAAA. Had it been less dry I'd give it an AAA+. It is however very exotic looking, so its the nose, so I guess you could consider that as a skew factor :D

Edit: Forgot to mention the buzz! That stuff hit me pretty hard with what I'd consider an hybrid buzz. Wasn't a couch lock at all but it did have a good strong body buzz. After 2 hours it started to feel a bit sleepy but I've been sick lately, so could just be me that was tired :D Definitely did not hinder my sleep, lasted all but 5 seconds on the pillow.

I’m honestly shocked to hear you think this is a AAA strain, I’m curious what you would consider AAAA? I just got some in myself and I’m seriously impressed and I pretty much only smoke quads and craft cannabis at this point.

Not trying to hate I’m just genuinely interested.

I guess you couldn't read between the lines :D

To me, AAAA must be impeccable. This isn't impeccable, in my opinion. Here's what bothered me:

1. It's dryer than 62%. I don't have a meter to measure it, but it's a bit crispy, the center of the bud isn't any more humid (so even cure, but too dry). I can only assume it lost a significant amount of terpenes because of this --- otherwise, it's a very faint smelling strain. Either case, it's not what I expect nose-wise in an AAAA bud. It's not bone dry though, definitely smokable.
2. They are mostly popcorn buds. It was just a 3.5g, so I have no idea how big they are in an OZ, but if I payed AAAA price for this size in an OZ, I would not be happy. Small nugs are always dryer, less potent, less terpy.
3. The taste profile is very narrow, it's like a burst of pepper and spice, makes you sneeze, very little else comes through. It's not a complex taste, it's a one trick pony. Nothing wrong with that, but it makes it less interesting and appealing to me.

You have to understand that I'm damn picky about weed. 8/10 from me is nothing to be ashamed of, it's a damn good rating. Also, it's entirely possible bigger buds would have made for a totally different experience... When I get a large quantity of buds and compare the small and big ones, the small ones aren't representative of the strain IMHO, they are pretty shit. The biggest I had to chose from is pretty small... so... I dunno.

So it’s a AAAA but you’re just being finicky over how dry it is? That’s all I figured it was when I “read between the lines” but I’d figure I’d ask as clarification can go a long way.

I don't think an overdried bud can qualify as AAAA. I guess the scale is pretty subjective. To me AAAA should be perfect, this wasn't. It lacks nose and taste vs what it could have been if not too dry. This ain't an issue that can be fixed with a boveda, those terps are long gone.

To each their own, I was genuinely curious as I collect cannabis and this was a better example of a true AAAA from a mom that I’ve had recently, in my opinion of course. I’m not too sure what you were sent but the cure from mine was very similar to what I got with the Violator Kush from theraveda a few months ago and that was canned just after the curing process.

Thanks a lot for the review and the pictures!

Sorry about the smaller buds.... We are picking up again very soon! A bit curious as to why the humidity level wasn't on point, as once we get ALL of our products in, each bag gets a large 62% humidity Boveda pack right away. Every order that 'shipped, get's one as well. We also had that Stripper Spit in stock for about 3 weeks, so I'm curious as to why it wasn't at the perfect humidity level. I mention all of this, as we ask for quite a bit of money for it and we expect to ship it out at or better than the value paid.

Thanks again for the review, it's always a bit hectic as I read it hahah.

Don't worry too much, it was small buds and small buds are pretty much always a let down vs the bigger ones, they dry faster so they end up a bit dryer, that core is too exposed :)

Like I said 8/10 from me is good :) I can definitely appreciate the genetics, it's a damn good looking flower, the trichomes are insane as seen in the microscope pic, buzz is strong!

In other news, I tried the Nuken live resin and it's phenomenal! Never had resin or rosin before, this is some smooth and nice tasting stuff.

Again, nice to hear good reviews on products we pay a lot for and in turn have to ask customers to pay at a premium as well.

The extracts are too strong for me.. jesus, just a bit of flower is usually good enough.

We have a pretty exciting new natural Rosin that will be added within the next day.

I'm pretty noob when it comes to extracts myself, I found that getting the right temperature really makes the experience a lot better. First couple times I smoked shatter I was using way too high temperature and I would cough for like 15 min after each dab. Less is better, lol... That resin was smooth as silk I really enjoyed it... Taste is clean and fruity, super nice!

Makes sense. Yeah the dabbers I know are all about the temp. They heat up the banger or nail then put their hand a cm away for a certain amount of time. I was looking into an electric heater.... I think I found one that's a pretty solid deal. Maybe I'll grab them and put them on the site.

That looks absolutely AMAZING... any recommendations of true AAAA you've found recently?
