Messages asking for SAMPLES TO REVIEW

We're still a fairly new MoM, I can just imagine how many messages MoM's that have been around longer have gotten.

Asking for free samples to review on a few of the popular discussion boards. I admire hard work and a way to earn something by an effort being put forward. I understand that it takes talent to write a proper review and it takes money to get some real good pictures taken with a good close up camera (believe me, I know we can work on our own presentation). I do not understand why anyone would want to do all of that for simply a few grams of weed. This is party why we implemented our affiliate program. Get some products and if you truly believe it's good enough to tell others to buy it, why not make a commission on it? That's real work and real money. You have access to a professional full website, professional customer service, all the shipping set up, a proper insurance type of set up, where if there are problems, they are remedied.. You have a whole business built for you already. Take advantage of our affiliate program, do a review but also provide a link where they can buy it. Get 15% of how much your review generated in business. Take advantage of companies that offer an affiliate program, not just us. We all chat about weed and where we got it from. What's the worst that's gonna happen? No one will buy from your link. What's the best? a bunch of people do and you make cash while you chill, with ZERO worries about business.

Don't sell yourself short asking for a few grams of weed to do a review. If you actually do believe you can generate business and are not just trying to get something free for nothing, then get what you deserve, a proper VERY LUCRATIVE commission.

The whole site is built for you. Wait until you see the next few very well known and reputable vendors I will be adding to the site. I can assure you, traffic and business is coming. I am far from greedy, I'd be super pumped to share the money :)

These are just part of the ideas and foundation of what we are building here. A community that will be rewarded for loyalty and work, as all communities should.

I'll be honest, it's gotten to a point where it's shameful to see how many leeches MOMs have created with samples. I'm absolutely sure there are a significant amount of users on here who never even bought from a MOM and are just leeching samples everywhere they can.

I've always encouraged new MOMs to break the ice with either some limited free samples or with a killer deal so they can get some product out to the customers, get some reviews, etc. so the community knows what's up and either adopts or rejects the new MOM in question.

The users that made it a system to just leech new MOMs for samples are abusing the system. Just look at how many samples are sent, how many killer deals are made and how little reviews actually make it to the review section. It's been a pet peeve for me, even posted about it a couple times, the MOMs, especially the new ones, deserve to get paid just value for their products. If you're getting samples with no intention of ever buying from them ever, you're just a parasite, you're not helping anyone.

Anyways rant over, I just wish people would be less obvious about both leeching and shilling, it's bad business for the whole community.

Everyone has a story, maybe times are tough for them. But yeah, if it's purely because they are trying to work the system and get something free... That's pretty lame. IF they actually feel they can generate business but putting up an HONEST review, then their time and effort is worth more than a few grams of weed. I believe many have good intentions and do believe they can generate a buzz or help business but are selling themselves short on what that's worth.

For the others that basically copy and paste a "Give me samples" message and send it to as many MoMs as possible to just work numbers for the chance that they do send something... work a bit for it. For all that empty heartless effort of even sending a message in the first place, try a bit harder with some honest work. There are a few MoMs that offer an Affiliate program, try one or all of them. If you are just broke and are looking for an opportunity to try something new and enjoy, chat with a MoM and be honest. I bet you will find that will go a long way with some :)

I know of 0 communities that will allow you to link an affiliate or referral link in your review. Reddit? You can't even link to the MOM, let alone an affiliate link. Start a blog? Host finds out about your DrUgS and then bam, site deleted. This forum doesn't even have a signature space to put a link and only the most attentive of people will find their way to a link in the shill factory rather than grabbing it off of the MOMlist. Sure, I know other forums. Any and every cannabis forum I can think of has a no-links rule. I fear you made this whole elaborate program for naught. I guess it'll benefit the extroverts, but I'm a reviewer, not a social butterfly. I assume the people who benefit from affiliate programs are not the reviewers, but the extroverts with 500 real life party casual friends who all do drugs.

Twice I've received completely free sample packages and they were offered by the MOM to me. Respect. But I've never asked anyone to send me anything for free, I just show a sample of one of my reviews to a company when I'm planning on purchasing, let them know where I'll post the reviews, and then buy the stuff I was gonna buy anyway.

I had an instagram for a while posting my orders, I always said where I got it in the description, I still got piles of messages asking if I would send them samples. I clearly had "I post my personal order photos only" in my description. I know insta moms have similar disclaimers to cover their asses, but I also had personal posts mixed in ffs haha. I thought it was pretty obvious it was my personal account... People are greedy as fuck and don't care about anyone else as long as they get theirs eh

100% true for 99% of the population.

When your reviews are good enough, there's no need to ask for free product. I don't; MOMs just send things for review--don't like it, don't read the reviews. :D

You definitely have a more professional way of obtaining samples to review. On your topic of Affiliate programs in our industry are for naught. I have been in sales for over 20 years, it takes hard work to find avenues to sell. The demand is definitely here. I agree that many types of sales fortune the extrovert a bit more, as they are willing to let others know and try. I love to chat about strategies and ways to sell, there are tons of ways and many way that are untapped yet. Not everyone believes that they could benefit or work an affiliate program but I know for a fact many do. This is just another avenue to offer our members to make money but someone that is not interested in sales at all telling a sales person that this could be for naught, is merely an opinion. Where there is a will, there is a way. If your work is good and deserves more, then you should get it. If someone might review just for fun or as a hobby.. That's cool as well.

Here's a quick example.

You do a review. You get a few people that like your review.

You send them a link that you have generated via private message and be honest.

Hello, Mr. Smith! Thanks for taking the time to check out my review :) Yeah, it's a great strain, especially of you're looking for some sleep bla bla bla. This company that I just reviewed for offers an Affiliate program, where any items bought because of the honest work I have put in to help advertise, because I do actually like and believe in it, will give me a bit of commission. If you do decide to try out this product, if you would make the purchase through this link, you're pricing would be no different but I would get a little commission. Again, thanks for your time, if you have any more questions about this product I have reviewed, please feel free to ask. Maybe you are looking for something different that I may have reviewed in the past that I can recommend?

Yeah, it could take some work but you could make money as well. You work reviews like this for a few months, I can BET that you would generate more money for yourself than not being a part of an affiliate.

That is just a quick idea of a way.... It will take work but could be rewarding.

Look, at the end of the day, sales is not for everyone, I know that. I have been lucky enough to get great reviews by members here and other places that have generated more business for me. I want to give more back for the help and hard work, as it's deserved.

I am giving the affiliate system a fair go and doing some hustling, we'll see if it pays off or if I just end up back on reviews. I LIKE writing, lol. The one person I've potentially referred to KT so far wants more than ounces so I told them just to privately contact so it probably won't even count in the system.

I hope it works out, really! I've been in sales for a long time and a 15% commish is very fair and obtainable :)

Good luck! And drop me a name if they dont go through your link, I'll always see what I can do :)
