Curious to know how one would go about doing sample reviews for a mom .? Straight up ask? Or is it usually posted when needed?

For a MOM to pass from "new MOM" to "Established MOM" it needs to have been a new MOM for 8 weeks and have 8 good reviews. Lots of new MOMs will just look at who were the 10-15 last reviewers and PM them to offer samples.

It's not very well viewed to ask for samples, so the best way to get started is just to review stuff you buy. The more you do, the better to chances you'll get offers, it's a wheel.

Some MOMs will DM the most active members in the community to offer samples in exchange for a review. This usually happens when, as xsinx said, you start buying and reviewing things on your own.

Buy products and post reviews. If your reviews are in depth along with good photos you'll start catching the attention of moms.

As mentioned, I wouldn't suggest requesting product to review.
